This is real deal and in a super looking caddy which looks good sitting on the sideboard. I've tried many loose leaf teas but this is by far superior in quality. Pleasant taste. Brewed as owe instructions to make a perfect cup of tea

This green tea is amazing and I’m on my 2nd box. It has a wonderful floral aroma and it starts off looking strange (biluochun literally means something like ‘curled spring snail’), but after a few minutes in hot water (I recommend 85°C - 90°C) the leaves all unfurl and the water turns a bright yellowish colour. Biluochun has great health benefits if you look into it. For me personally, it has reduced blood pressure and fatigue, but most importantly has helped me lose weight. It has powerful antioxidant properties and improves mental health. I find myself sleeping and waking earlier, feeling more refreshed than normal. As a diuretic, it leads to increased urination, which is good if you want to lower water retention and boost the excretion of salts and other toxins, BUT, drinking too much of this tea close to bedtime WILL lead to frequent visits to the bathroom during the night. If you’re particularly interested in discovering the health benefits of this tea then I strongly advise you to Google it! You will find that the list of health benefits are seemingly endless!

This product comes delivered in a very attractive cardboard box with a tightly fitting lid. The tea inside has been vacuum packed inside a storage bag to retain freshness. The leaves seem healthy and slightly fragrant - one teaspoonful is plenty for a cup/mug, but allow a good 4 minutes for this to brew. I have tried it with less tea and with more but the flavour is pretty much the same so stick with the one teaspoonful. After brewing, you will see that the leaves have expanded fully to give off their flavour. I also tested this tea in a glass mug, a ceramic mug and a china mug - the glass and china seemed to give off the better flavour. I have tried numerous green teas and flavoured teas over the years, my favourite is always jasmine but, sadly, the brand I preferred no longer sells that flavour so it has been a long journey of trial and error. This product has a lovely green tea flavour and aroma. It feels "heavier" than other green teas I have but that is to its credit. My only negative here is that the jasmine could have been much, much stronger. Although it is clearly present I have a preference for a more highly flavoured jasmine tea - something I have not been able to find so I am not really classing it as a negative in this instance. Would I buy this again? Most definitely. 250g is a lot of loose tea and will last me some while. Although I would have preferred a much stronger jasmine flavour, I was very pleased with the weight of the brew, its consistency and its taste - definitely a far better "green tea" than many others I have tried. And, as added bonuses, the cardboard "caddy" looks great and really helps to keep the tea fresh, and the price is exceptional. So, yes, I will definitely be buying this tea regularly in the future and for green tea lovers who like a delicate "edge" to the brew, this would be perfect. I left a 4 star rating here only because of my preference and wished the jasmine flavour had been stronger, but that is not a deal breaker for me since this is such a good quality green tea overall.

It's a perfect companion for quiet contemplation or lively conversation. If you're seeking a tea with depth, character, and a unique flavour profile, Pu-erh black tea is an absolute must-try! Environmentally sound packaging too, you don't even need to put in a different container!
