Your Body (Usborne Beginners)

As a childre's entertainer and an Alexander Technique teacher, I think it's really important that books llike this are accurate, and that they grab a child's interest, by being funny and entertaining. This book manages both - entertaining and educational for children.

This was a Christmas gift for a very curious little boy, and wow did it go down well. I only got a few of the books, but this collection is huge and I would really recommend it to anyone with kids who are keen on learning.

My six year old granddaughter is so interested in this book, it is very informative

Although the book was smaller than I expected (is A5 size) it is packed full of brightly coloured pages with information presented in clear, concise, English. This makes it more easily digestible for a small child and for an older child would naturally lead them on to more in-depth books once their minds become more inquisitive. There are 32 pages (inc. the Index) and includes a glossary of body words and also a link to Usborne's website where you can then access further websites for learn even more about the human body. I am very pleased with this book and will certainly be looking at the other titles in the series.

These books are great. I have purchased quite a few of them. Just enough information for my 5 year old to find interesting and easy to understand.

arrived in specified time and priced well. I now have a budding 4 yr old Doctor. This is fantastic, really simple for little ones and no doubt helpful for older ones when they get to school.

My child wanted a book that explained bodily functions, which this does - but with really confusing cartoon drawings of little people and machines inside your body. I don't think this particularly helps a 3 year old understand these concepts and would prefer something a bit more factual. It focuses on musculoskeletal systems rather than bodily processes. (No reproduction.) Did enjoy reading it once but we haven't reached for it again and wouldn't really recommend it other than for its cheap price.

I ' ve discovered lately Usborne books. They are very well written and colours and pictures attract the attention of children . My child has already learnt many new things thanks to this book. I will definetely buy more of various subjects.

Has lots of information, worth buying.

Nicely written and illustrated for young on the spectrum grandson who absorbs whatever he is interested in.

No words to describe this book. So beautifully explained. The mechanisms of our body are explained with cute drawings with a touch of physics. One would think, it's beyond a little child's capacity to grasp so much information. This book makes it possible!
