Personal choice?
Used on the 3 peaks Yorkshire challenge. They helped a bit but lost one of the end fittings on route. If you don't tighten the clips , the sticks will slide down too. Felt they were more a hinderance than a help though they did take the pressure off my knees. They are lightweight and adjust easily.

Tough and lightweight trekking poles
Really good hiking poles. The shock absorber feature is great (you can also use them without using the shock absorber). I noticed a couple of reviews which mentioned that the poles not remaining extended but there are screw heads so you can easily tighten the clasps so they grip the poles more firmly (make these adjustments with the clasp open and then close the clasp).Also there's a nifty little compass on one of the hand straps which was a nice surprise.Really happy with these so far.

Great for the taller hiker
Great, have not used yet but seem solid enoughFor anyone 5.10 and over these adjust to suit.
