Astronomy (Usborne Beginners)

A fantastic book for younger children to read and learn. My son loves everything to do with space and this book was so much fun to read. Great way to keep them interested and fab facts and illustrations. Not expensive too.

Bought for an 8 year old but much more suited to a child first learning to read. I think the "Beginners" refers to reading skill rather than knowledge of astronomy. My mistake.

I purchased this book as I have recently developed an interest in Astronomy and hoped it could help further my knowledge. I always prefer to buy books rather than source information from the internet. This seemed perfect for me as I am pretty much a beginner however I was surprised to see this is actually a childrens book. What a waste of money! A good laugh though, silly me. It is very basic, nothing a beginner astronomer wouldn't already know. More pictures than writing and the writing is sparse and in a large, bold font. A great book for kids but definitely not what I needed. I would not recommend this to any adult beginners of astronomy however I would strongly recommend this book for any young, budding astronomer.please thumbs up :)

These books are fab my daughters only 4 but wants to learn about everything do these books are great. They have enough information with out being too much for my daughter. Will be buying more of them

Grandson loves these books . Even I find them very interesting

This book was just what my 8 year old grandson was looking for. It is colourful, easy to follow and concise and yet very informative. A very good little publication.

For me and my 3 and half year old grandson not as interesting as Solar System and Sun Moon and Stars

having bought 'the solar system' & 'sun moon and stars' Usborne Biginners books i was disappointed as most of the book was a repeat of these and had only 2 pages about stargazing which i thought the whole book would be about.
