Easy to use and worked as expected.

I used this to test my yard and garden for lead. Kit tells you what to do and how to send it to the lab. Once you register the kit online they will email you the results in a couple weeks. I wish there were more features to help you interpret lab results but the raw data is still useful.

I was worried about the cost at first but let me tell you that it couldn't be any easier to collect the samples and register the kit online and fill out the information about when and where the samples were collected and drop it off at the local UPS Store. It comes with prepaid return postage inside the box. Read the instructions and off you go. The samples were tested and the results were emailed to me. I will certainly be using them again. Fast, High quality testing and a lot of bang for the buck. I highly recommend this test kit for all your lead testing needs.

Does what it is supposed to do, the results were send back on time, there was no problem with the whole process. We tested our old farmhouse and I am glad we did before moving our toddler in (the lead dust was extremely hazardous in all tested rooms except for the tested soil). Very helpful product, thanks.

I had some soil with possible lead contamination, so I use this test kit for a first look. The results came back within the 5 days promised. Some areas exhibited above safety levels, so I contracted for a licensed test company and their results were pretty similar showing the same areas exceeding safe levels.

You need to know what you are doing when taking samples for lab testing. Most of us do not. Do most of us even understand the results? Are we paying attention to how much area were are wiping? do we have a baseline to compare to? These tests can be beneficial, but really, there is a lot of debate going on about the relevance of the information obtained from the results. How much lead is too much, if you wipe an area of your home that hasn't been wiped or touched for 30 years? Can you even send that sample in and consider it a fair test? Realistically any sample of 30-year-old dust will have some atmospheric lead dust accumulation. the point is, due to your research before you collect your samples and try to understand what it is you are to gain from the results.

Took WAYYY TOO LONG TO SEND THE RESULTS. NOT RECOMMENDED

The report is a little hard to read - in addition to all the data and numbers, the report should be dummy-proof with a PASS or FAIL note. Overall good item - as advertised, the online registration was easy, the kit came with shipping label, easy to track shipping and test status. 5-day turnaround after the samples reached the laboratory. WELL worth the price.
