I'm a retired engineer who spends his free time with woodworking, 3D Printing and Computer and Electronics Home Automation stuff. The beauty of these screws is that they can self thread and drive into many different kinds of material without the need to pre-drill a pilot hole. They have very sharp points and a good tap on the 2.5 mm hex driver with the palm of your hand is all it takes to make them start screwing into most surfaces since their design pulls the screw into the material with every turn. Wood, plastic, light sheet metal and aluminum are all potential fastening surfaces for these screws. Of course if you have the room and the time you can still pre-drill a pilot hole that makes them even easier to use but how often does that happen? I find my self using many of the shorter lengths in the 6mm to 14mm range the most and will probably re-order the same assortment soon so as to not run out of those handiest lengths.

Great Product. Exactly as expected.

The screws seem sturdy and do what they say. One less star because the organizing container doesn't hold up to shipping apparently and 4 of the smallest screw sections were all completely mixed up.
