Absolutely brilliant and so well made. I received them so quick too. the draw back is the chairs don't stay folded unless laid down or propped at a angle.Or left as in the pic and covered. But the set is so worth the money. so beautiful looking.But,The first table I had a problem with. A screw/bolt just kept going round. So Amazon sent a replacement table. I was supposed to be given time to put together to make sure there wasn't anything amiss with the second table. But the delivery guys took the first table there and then and I didn't even get chance to put a return lable on the box to let them know the table that they were taking back was faulty. after they went. I proceeded to put the second table together. one of the peg holes was too deep and too wide.( wasn't going to go through the palava of trying to get another replacement so I tried to fix the problem myself. I screwed up bits of paper to fill the hole to the required depth, then put a wrap on the peg with glue then glued the peg in.Fortunately it worked. But was bad for a new table. But having got the table together I love it.I tried to get a wee refund for the problems I had. but have heard nothing. Despite the problems it is a lovely wee patio set.

First of all, the chairs are really nice quality. The table itself is nice and sturdy, but I mistakenly thought it folded (that'll teach me to read the FAQ) and had I known I probably would not have bought the set,The main reason for my low score is that despite buying this item as new, it was not. It arrived with an extremely obvious repair to the table top, in different colour wood and did not sit flush with the rest of the table. As I am planning to paint it (and Amazon gave me a generous refund) I decided to keep it.In summary, even at the full price its a well made set. There are a few small splits in the wood, but its wood and wood does split, plus it can be easily fixed. Had I bought this from a high street DIY store, I would have expected to pay at least double the full price. As it happens, what I paid would have only bought me two chairs elsewhere.

So far so good. This seems quite a sturdy set, and has been left out in the garden - admitedly mainly sunny this summer, but some pretty wet days, and no signs of wear so far. It was easy to put together - a one-man job of 15 minutes max. Comfortable chairs, and good sized table - a good value buy. Not given 5 stars yet as will see how it lasts and update accordingly

On offer at half price for under £200, I was a bit concerned that this set might be a case of "you get what you pay for". In this case, you get much more than you pay for and it would have been fair value at full price. The chairs and table are well made and much sturdier than other similar products I have seen and the table is easy to assemble. My only mildly negative comment is that the wood finish is about 95% perfect - the odd bit of exposed grain - but in our damp climate that would probably occur anyway and a good dose of oil each season would help. A set cover and seat cushions are essential too. My first table was damaged (these things happen) and Amazon were incredibly efficient in authorising a replacement. The same could not be said about their utterly awful, useless and incompetent courier firm Yodel, who kept me waiting at home for 3 days for promised deliveries that did not arrive. (I have just had the same experience with them with a delivery from another firm). It is a shame, because their ineptitude reflects badly on the supplier of the goods.

Did quite a bit of research before purchasing this - and it was a disappointment from start to finish!Delivery:Ordered for special occasion, but on the agreed morning of arrival had a phone call from carrier (Arrow) to say would not be able to deliver, and that this had been delayed by a week. Promised to ring me back that day to confirm delivery date, but didn't. Arrived a week later, with no explation for why it had not been delivered as expected.Table and Chairs:Items very well packaged in three boxes, securely. Initially very impressed with the table and chairs - it looked very well made, and was easy to put together. However, on closer inspection the table was damaged. The damage indicated that this had occurred during manufacture, by 'forcing' two pieces of wood together, resulting in a split. This was obvious, and on the top of the table (although there is an indication that the furniture was subject to checks etc - can't have as this wasn't difficult to spot!)Amazon's response:Contact Amazon via live chat, and explained that the item was damaged, and they agreed to arrange collection and refund. Different carrier (City Link) collected when agreed. Amazon subsequently emailed to say had received the item back, then that refund was being organised and this was paid back into my account.Very disappointed that item now out of stock, but then not really sure would want to take the risk of re-ordering. This was a very 'nice' item, but unfortunately damaged so its difficult to write a review. Decided to do so however on the basis of the whole experience - and cannot fault the way Amazon rectified this.

I bought this garden furniture set on a Thursday and it arrived by Friday AM. I'm very impressed on delivery and the set.Minimal assembly required - chairs are already assembled - and tool to fit the table legs is included. Comes in 3 large, but not heavy boxes.The table has adjustable feet, which is a ideal for wonky patios. The table is also sterdy enough to hold a large parasol without tipping (using a sufficient base). The table doesn't fold down, unlike the chairs, but the table could be unscrewed for winter storage.For the price paid, this set looks really good and is great quality. Lovely colour and smells good too! My (carpenter) husband even agreed it was a bargin and he's very picky with my wooden purchases.
