It's a cheap multimeter that gets the job done, only problem I've seen is that the wall diode scanner doesn't really work and just adds bulk to the thing.Overall: Recommended, it soaks up abuse like a champ and has the settings you need.

This meter works great especially for the price. It’s simple to use and seems very accurate. It has all the features you might get on a more expensive meter. It comes with a rubber case to protect it as well as you can clip your leads onto it for storage. The lcd screen is bright.

You get what you pay for! I needed a multimeter for a one time use while visiting friends and this one met the requirements.

Voltage measurements seem to be accurate, but the physical design is *terrible*.1. You need a tiny Phillips head screwdriver to insert or change the batteries (which do not come preinstalled), and the screw is in a recessed location. Every other device I know allows battery change with your fingers.2. The rubber is bad and does not hold the leads well.3. The instructions are baffling and wrong. Tells you battery compartment is on bottom of device when it’s on top half on the backside.4. No where to store the rubber tips for the leads.
