COSMO COS-5MU36 36 in. Delta Collection Ducted Under Cabinet Range Hood, Button Controls, Reusable Filters, LED Lights, Stainless Steel

Just moved into an older house where they had microwave over the range vented back into the kitchen. The microwave still worked but sounded like one of the fighter jets stationed nearby. Annoyingly loud and spewing cooking smells back into the place!I jumped on Amazon looking for a range hood to solve the problem. Found this very nice brushed stainless unit by Cosmo. Pulled the trigger and it was here in a couple of days.There was already a flue vent to the roof so the install was pretty simple. Included was a template for either mounting under cabinet or wall mount!Just tested and finished install today and will give it a go tonight for the first time.This unit has full surface filter coverage so I expect it to pull all the cooking vapors outside easily. It has three speeds all much quieter than the departed microwave.BTW it has LED lighting and is also convertible to send the fumes through charcoal filtration before recirculating the filtered air back into the kitchen if you don't have a vent to outside.Will update if there are any surprises.

Our older home, recently obtained, does not allow for smart or affordable outside venting. This unit was easily mounted under a cabinet over our induction surface stove. The LED light is good enough for cooking and we don't work in shadows or need to mount an additional light to shine on the stove. Good to run air through the charcoal filter and greatly reduce odors in kitchen and surrounding rooms.

I'm generally pleased with the COSMO COS-5MU30-BL delta collection ducted under cabinet range hood. It effectively removes cooking fumes and odors from my kitchen.However, I do wish the design was more distinctive. - the hood feels somewhat generic and lacks a unique touch.One major drawback is the lighting. The light is positioned all the way at the back of the hood, which doesn't provide adequate illumination for my cooktop. Additionally, the light isn't strong enough, making it difficult to see what I'm cooking.Overall, it's a functional product, but with some design improvements, it could even better.

I ordered this when my kitchen had water damage and I ended up with an unexpected remodel. I wanted a matte black hood and was having a hard time finding one. This one is exactly what I was looking for. It was very easy to install and looks great. My remodel is not complete, so I haven't had time to use the full ventilation yet, but so far I'm impressed.

We received it 2 days ago yesterday we installed it’s very nice looking, only weight 16pounds pretty quite but didn’t included the carbon filters they have to be order apart

Great Product easy to install

Under cabinet installation design is not well engineered. Consistent with other reviews, the placement of the rear pre drilled screw holes does not allow for use of standard length drill or screw driver. Screws are too long and will protrude through most cabinet shelves. Had to purchase bolts, washers and nuts and install from above, within the cabinet, downward through the range hood. Hopeful that once installed the quality is consistent with other positive reviews, but prepare to spend extra time and effort to install securely under cabinet. Not thrilled to have raised bolts and washers in our cabinet, will now have a shelf that is not uniformly level and has four bolts protruding.
