Initial setup was easy. I unboxed it, plugged it in at my desk, and used the Foscam app to get the WiFi set up and add the camera to my existing account. It took all of 5 minutes to do that.Mounting using the included hardware was also easy. I mounted it the corner trim for my siding and hid the wire inside of the trim. My only wish is that wire for the power supply was a bit longer so I could have mounted it higher. Make sure you consider the availability of an outlet nearby where you want to mount it.The camera functionality is very nice. The video quality is very clear and also good at night. The floodlight is handy too and can be controlled from the app. It is brighter than I thought it would be for such a compact camera. I am not using the motion detection feature on this camera. However, I have a flood light camera from Foscam where I use the motion detection feature and it works well and is easy to set up in the app. I am also not utilizing the cloud service or the SD card recording capability, so I can't comment on the playback through the app. I have this hooked up to an older ONVIF compatible NVR for local recording. It was easy to do add it to the NVR, and I like that the Foscam WiFi cameras have the ONVIF capability. You just have to turn it on in the settings once you've added the camera to the app.The build quality is nice, and it seems well built and sturdy. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase, but I do wish the wire for the power supply was just a bit longer.

It is very small, as you can see in the images I uploaded, it is almost smaller than my hand. It is easy to set up and mount. It comes with a template and a quick guide. It comes with mounting hardware as well as a warning sticker that shows that you have Foscam installed for security. The image is very clear and has a very wide coverage. Motion is as great as the others I have. Camera quality:The camera is built of what seems to be some type of metal, which is consistent with my other Foscam's. The mount is also very sturdy and looks like it can weather a lot.Connectivity:One of the big reasons I got this camera was because of it being wifi, and it has good connectivity since my router is somewhat far from it.
