The pins in the male connectors ara bit loose fitting and can be difficult to mate with other connectors.

No problems with mine, just as described and doing the usual job these cables are meant powering an SSD in my desktop.(Amazon wanted me to give a Star rating to the "Sheerness" of this item?!? I do wish they would pay more attention to their system instead of just making lots of profit.)

Cannot fault this product! Arrived 2 days earlier than estimated which is great. Works perfectly, just plug into a molex cable and bam, you got two. I needed this adapter so i could use another sata optical drive, i ran out of leads and so needed to have a spare one, resulting in buying this one. I removed my fan power and inserted this adapter and then plugged my fan lead back into the molex cable, now i have an extra lead for my optical drive, just have to wait till that arrives.All in all cannot fault this product, super quick delivery and amazing price, quality of the pins look reasonably well, slight movement but thats expected - there is a secure fit once the female end has been plugged in, will be using seller again, thanks!

This is a fantastic solution if the power supply has no more outgoing connections.(Molex wires)This is exactly the same wire you'd get if you bought a power supply for your computer.(quality wise)If you are new to building computers make sure you press the end connectors hard enough for the pins to go in correctly.I bought 2 of these cables and they were a little stiff, not a problem you just need to make sure they fully connect. These cables are great for adding a usb 3.0-pci 1.0 express card. You can also use these for other components though.I used mine to setup a usb 3.0 card, I simply unplugged 1 outgoing wire from power supply to fan, placed this wire on the outgoing power supply, this gives you 2 connections. 1 for the fan and the other for the usb 3.0 pci card. It is that simple.

While it is not the best quality it is still perfectly fine if you take care not to distort the pins and apply gentle firm pressure making sure you have lined the pins up. It is a Molex type connector but not made by MOLEX. I have used these types of connectors for years and you can always get the odd one which isn't crimped properly. Mine was fine. The reviewer who complained about it being a cheap Chinese make, should accept that you get what you pay for. Better quality = much higher price.

I bought this cable to enable me to add a USB 3.0 card (which required power)to my desktop as all molex sockets were in use. I bought 2 because of the low price and some unfavourable reviews (to make sure I got one which worked). Both leads were fine and I ended up using both of them in series to give me the length I needed.

only one minor issue, could be a bit longer to ease fitting. But solid enough for the job at hand
