This Thing is Excellentttt!!
It says this will last for 30 minutes cold, however it actually lasted a solid hour, and by that time, I was ready to take it off anyway!! I am waiting for shoulder surgery and on long days when I use my arm a lot, this thing is a life saver. I was also worried it wasn't going to fit well, as I am a plus sized pregnant lady (2x), but it fit great! It was a little awkward and confusing figuring out how to wear it the first time, but I got it lol. The only thing I wish were better, would be that the upper part doesn't stay close to your skin well. My injuries are front, back, and on top tears, and it feels like the top one, which happens to be one of the more painful ones, doesn't quite get that cold like the rest of it. If you have a bicep problem, though, this will be your best friend lol. I still love it and am thankful I got it!! It is heavy and does take up a lot of space in the freezer. So be prepared for that.

Good shoulder gel pack
This product delivered as described. I used in recovery from rotator cuff surgery. Kept in freezer and used when shoulder twingy painful or achy. I appreciated the smooth vinyl and flocked sides difference, which worked either way, directly against the skin (flocking) or atop a shirt (plain side), without irritating the skin and getting a relevant cooling action. I found the arm strap a bit bothersome at times. It could be fussy putting on with one hand, enough so that early in recovery, I often left it off rather than fuss with it. I have no certain suggestion for different configuration that might work better. If you have someone on hand to help, no problem. This definitely offered both therapeutic and comfort pluses to my surgery recovery (icing quelled inflammation and eased hurt feelings). I am a tall and broad shouldered guy, this pack fit fine. Also note, I had two of these, different brands; this was the better quality one.

Top of the line shoulder ice pad
This doesn’t have a removable ice pack, it’s integrated into the unit. Tons of cold surface area, and it’s highly adjustable. The area that touches your shirt/skin is soft like velour. The directions say to freeze in the included bag, which is did. If you don’t use for 72 hours, remove from the freezer to extend the units life., which I plan to.Overall, an awesome unit which has greatly helped with my shoulder surgery recovery.Only downside is that it takes a while to freeze. I mention this because if you are 30 minutes on/off, it won’t have enough time to freeze solidly. For a pickleball player to ice after a day of playing, perfect use.

Big and bulky
Very nice and well made but way too big and bulky for me. I sent it back.

Fits perfectly for a petite person
Why did you pick this product vs others?:My daughter had rotator cuff surgery and since she is diabetic-1 (insulin dependent) she has to move her arms more frequently up and down to keep her shoulder from freezing up.Earlier we bought different ice packs, but this one works way better than other ones to keep the swelling down. It’s larger and fits perfectly over her arm and shoulder

Works great but good luck getting it on by yourself
I got a medium. I’m a medium build woman (size 12) and it fits just right. I have a shoulder impingement and the pain shoots down my arm, up into my neck, and all around my shoulder blade. This covers all those areas. This cold pack feels great! I have one complaint. This thing is pretty much impossible to put on by yourself. The pack itself is frozen so it’s not very pliable. You have to try to adjust the Velcro straps (it’s strong Velcro) while keeping the pack in place and stretching the straps (that aren’t very long to begin with), all while you have one arm that lacks normal mobility. If it wasn’t for my husband who puts it on me, I seriously doubt I’d ever have it on other than to drape it over me. You could maybe get the straps set and slide into it but there’s still the issue of shoulder and arm mobility. If I could put it on with ease by myself I’d give it a 5. Gave it a 4 because it fits well, has a big coverage area, and gets rid of my pain.
