Review: Brings the Matt Fraction run on Hawkeye to a close. - This is the final volume of Matt Fractions run on Hawkeye that covers his life away from the Avengers. This story wraps up the story of his battle with the Tracksuit Vampires as he attempts to win piece and security for the people of his housing block having re-united with his brother. In some ways it feels like it could have gone on longer, with it's final tie into book three and Kate Bishop (and pizza dog) being short and to the point but at the same time it is a fairly tight, small and personal story. This has been an excellent run and I'd recommend any comic fans to give it a try. I'd never been massively keen on Hawkeye but I loved this series. Review: Fraction+Aja at it best again for a final chapter - This collection contains the final chapters of Hawkeye by Fraction and Aja, one of the greatest team up and kindest surprise for me in recent Marvel Comics. The story goes about how our hero tries to protect his home and in this he gets help from his big brother too. Barney's character is also very well depicted and presented, the reader will connect and care for him in an instant. The book is top notch in every aspect: writing, graphics, color, print quality and the glossy paper will make this a must buy for every comic reader.

A superb comic book series! Definitely buy this!!!
Seriously, what more can I say about Matt Fractions Hawkeye........it's simply AMAZING!!! To any comic book readers who love all things Marvel, please read this Hawkeye series from the start, you won't be disappointed. This particular graphic novel is brilliant, just like the rest. I won't spoil it for you as it defeats the object of buying and reading it for yourself. Just know that it has the same old brilliant writing as the rest of the series. As for the art work, it's just amazing! I seriously want some David Aja originals to put up on my wall, I need to track that guy down!!! All the other artists are equally just as brilliant too, Steve Lieber, Jesse Hamm and Francesco Francavilla as well as others. Matt Fraction and David Aja are definitely in my top 5 writers and artists of recent years and I'll be sure to check out more from these guys soon. Buy, read, enjoy, pass it on!

Ótimo produto, em perfeito estado, chegou antes do prazo. A história é quase perfeita, como sempre, e apresenta as nuances emocionais do Clint Barton como nunca vistas. O storytelling é inteligente e instigante, e a arte é fantástica.

Hawkeye is one of the best graphic novels you will ever read. Not only is the art gorgeous, the story compelling, but the issues are unique and experimental, including, in this volume, one told via sign-language. Somehow, Fraction and Aja have gotten it to work, and I'm so sad to be saying goodbye to this phenomenal run. To avoid spoilers I'm keeping this review short. Here's what you most need to know: This volume is the most serious of all of them. It takes the story up a notch and onto a level it hadn't touched before. It also managed to wrap up the current storyline, and borrowing from Kate's adventures in LA, sets up the next one. Clint's relationship with his brother and the women in his life is expanded upon, and our hero finally realizes what it means to really lean on someone, and he finally accepts it, though he still has a lot of work to do in that department. He also discovers what it means to be a hero- at least for him- and rises to the title. There are also flashback scenes that give an in-depth view of his family and history. While Kate's a bit busy for the majority of this story, she's not around very much. While I did miss her presence, new characters filled the gap nicely. Overall, this was an amazing end to an amazing series. I can't wait to see where the character goes and plan to pick up volume five sometime in the near future.

An almost satisfying conclusion. Loved the art and the story. But the most important subject was deafness, ASL, reading lips and hearing aids. Even though I learned AUSLAN, I could understand mostly what was signed. Finally used my knowledge of Irish finger spelling! A great read.
