easy to use test kit. its a popular brand of test kit for marine tanks. i have several test kits from the same manufacturer, that i use for maintenance of my small reef tank. i trust the results to be accurate and will buy again.

Perfect results

I bought this to replace another magnesium test kit that was throwing up some weird results that just couldn’t be correct as magnesium only gets there if you put it there and would tend to drop over time so should just go up on it’s own. This kit works in the same way where you prepare a sample of tank water using the chemicals provided and then dripping in to the solution another chemical from a syringe until the colour of the water sample changes, the amount of fluid left in the syringe in ml is then read off a table to give the magnesium reading. It is a bit fiddly but the whole process actually takes less than 5 minutes, if that. The results of this kit are giving results that are what I would expect so I would trust the results of the kit.
