I ate crabs outside with my daughter and usually flies are bombing us. Got these fans and ABSOLUTELY NO FIES. Turned them off while cleaning up and flies everywhere. They definitely worked.

The media could not be loaded. These are infinitely better.ProsThey’re more effective with a slightly higher blade height, allowing for taller drinks as opposed to others. For example; I no longer have to prop the apparatus up on coasters to fit a full size drink underneath.They’re more stable. The base of these are octagon shaped and thick while the stems are flexible, making them “bottom-heavy” as opposed to top-heavy like the others. These won’t tip over. I had broken two of the others from inadvertently knocking them off the side-table while cleaning.These are better value. My cost at time of purchase was $25.49 or $8.50 ea. literally half the cost of the others—and I don’t have to worry about breaking them.The thing that sealed the deal for me was the rechargeable aspect. no more swapping rechargeable batteries, which was a real pain. Also worth mentioning; the power-button on these is located at the very top of the octagon—very conveniently located. The others required you pick the unit up, flip the swith, then put the unit down again—carefully.Anyway, I’m confident you’ll like these, I sure do!

Great product! The fly fans are fantastic for outdoors and indoors. The USB port rechargeable feature makes it well worth it because they last 7+/- hours. They keep flies away from picnic tables and pet food. Also, keeps moths away from our vegetable plants.

After two nights in a row fighting flies during dinner on warm, humid evenings on the deck, I tried these and they really do work. Not a single fly showed up for hours.There are several of these out there, but I picked this one because it's rechargeable. Most others used standard AA batteries.

I like the rechargeable battery and the fact it comes with 3 charging cords, not just 1. Easy to setup and run. No sound at all when running. My problem is that 1 of the 3 units did not work. The others came with enough charge to run when opened, but 1 did not and it was not a charging issue. I opened the unit and there was over 2 volts on the battery. I note to the seller brought no reply.

These worked really really well. They came ready to use. I didn’t see any flea landing on food, and they weren’t intrusive.
