Top Cards - Lexicon

LOVE this game. Bought it for my language-loving Mum and we have a good laugh at all the funny words we seem to come up with (for some reason, we often come up with the word ''whores''!). Either create a new word or change an existing word on your turn (swap out a letter or add in several letters). You can play tactically, too – for instance, putting down a long word on your go, and then adding a letter on your next go (providing nobody else does!) to get a better score. Just love it and already looking at buying a couple more packs to expand our letters library!

I bought this for my mother (a granny) for Christmas as a game to share with the family. It has been a great success over the last couple of years as it appeals to all generations (all over 10's though, so I can't review on behalf of younger children). The game slots in nicely as an alternative to Boggle or Scrabble, with a duration in between the two. It's also an ideal holiday game as the pack of cards along with pencils/scraps of paper would squeeze into even RyanAir hand-baggage allowances.

Lexicon was recommended to me by my mother. It is an excellent game for children, encouraging creation of words and also helping with simple addition. I would recommend this to anyone.

This is a great game which we've had for years, and we needed an extra deck for big family get togethers so finally got a new one. Excellent game, great value and quick delivery - what's not to like! It's also good as a random letter generator for other games.

These are OK but they are wrongly sized on the web page. The product that is delivered is not the full size cards but the much smaller travel "Tuck" pack. Apparently the full size is not available.

perfect. 2 of the packs were for my sister to take back to Australia she plays regularly with our sister in law back there!! she has worn out Dads pack from way back in the 1930's. which were waxed backed they are not made that way any more, mores the pity!!!!. this is a great game for all the family specially with the kids from 3 upwards!!!!

I used these as I hid the letters of "kings of leon" around the house as a surprise for my husband, but there weren't enough letters so I had to adjust some of them. Not sure how you would play this as a game due to such few letters.
