Lights...Camera...Murder!: Post Mortem Murder Mystery (Post Mortem Murder Mystery Game) Paperback – April 14, 2023

Spent hours doing this with no distractions. I love how it is so engaging, interactive and had a good storyline. I was annoyed every time I had to stop working on the mystery to do “real world things.” The evidence, photographs, directory, maps were a great realistic touch. I appreciated that the answers were on black paper, with white ink AND printed upside down so you wouldn’t accidentally read it while flipping through the pages to the back of the book. I ended up paper clipping it shut, just so I had less to flip back and forth through when doing my notes etc. I’m recommending it to all my friends. Bummed it came out this year since that means I’ll probably have to wait awhile until the next one comes out. 100% totally worth buying!

This is a choose your own adventure book for grown ups. It's a fun little story that lets you feel like Phillip Marlowe for a while. You navigate twists and turns, and actually solve the mystery using your own know how and intuition.I had a great time with this and hope the company produces more of these!

Bad packaging. Arrived damaged as well as other book in order. Should know better than pack soft cover books in paper bag.

This book was wonderful, so much fun. It is a take on a choose your own adventure book, but with a murder mystery in a box twist. I do a lot of murder mystery boxes, puzzle books, and games and this one is up at the top for me.I thought the production value and effort to create realistic clues, maps, and directories were so well done. I also loved how it was a bit less guided in the sense that you can follow any string of theories or leads and learn different things at different times than someone else would. (I say this in contrast to a mystery in a box type game where often the progression of materials given leads you down one particular path.) There is a lot to explore and it is even fun when you find yourself going down a path that may not actually lead to anything, but it is amazing they allowed the time and space to fill in the world even down those paths.Truly engaging, a really fun and challenging way to spend an evening. I know this company specializes in murder in a box games, and I see that this book is based off of one of their experiences. I really hope they continue to make more books like this based off of some of their other stories!

The media could not be loaded. I was so excited about this. Unfortunately I got what looks to be a bound copy of a pile of recycled paper with an off center copy of the cover of the real book. Completely fraudulent copy.
