Operation was cool to the touch, I choose a corded variant because batteries will die. The look and feel is premium. Initially the vibration level was high because it was new and needed time for the parts to mesh together.After my second use and oiling as recommended by the manufacturer this were quite smooth and quiet.I have been constantly cutting my sons and self hair every 2 weeks with no problems.The key is to oil the device before and after use in order to prolong the life and functionality.I took a leap and so far I have had no regrets.

Despite other feedback that it's heavy, I found it very light. Although I'm moving from an original pair of Wahls that finaly gave up after 26 years of use!The attachments with the metal clips give you lots of confidence that it isn't going to fall off and scalp you.Battery is a little shorter than I was expecting. I get about 5/6 cuts (all over grade 0.5 + beard) before it needs charging.The bag/case is a little annoying as nothing really stays in position, thus things fall out quite easily. Though there is a drawstring back included that you can just chuck everything in.Being waterproof and cordless is a blessing after the original set I had. Makes small work of a quick trim, thus I'm cutting once every 5/6 days or so rather than every week.For those that are still thining a plug in one.... seriously, get a cordless.My only gripe is that I seem to miss a few patches of hair far more frequently then when I used my original set. Probably just need to be a little more patient when cutting.

These are the worst clippers I've ever used. I've been using clippers for years to trim my husband's hair. After our old ones packed up I did some research and decided to spend a little more on some 'quality' clippers. Expensive mistake! I've used them twice - my husband doesn't have much hair, he's 62! They were slow, quality of the cut was poor, uneven and they were heavy to use. Not fit for purpose.
