The range on this extender is great. I'm using it to connect to my HOA pool three houses down and across the street. Most of the time it reaches nicely and even let's me access a camera we installed for the HOA to monitor the poolBoosted my regular wireless to reach all parts of 2200 sq feet and to entire front and back yard.Easy setup using my phone. Definitely recomend.This is actually the second extender we have purchased! We needed this for our external camera that was having trouble connecting to our wifi. Once we set this up, we have had no issues since!!!! Just plug it in the room closest to what you’re trying to connect it to inside/outside and you will have more signal!!! Very happy with our purchase!.The instructions could be a little better but by witching a youtube video i got it setup and it works great. From the front of the house where the wireless router is to the back of the house where the office is the wireless access was very spotty. with the WIFI Booster in the middle of the hallway i now get great coverage in the whole house.

Works as it should. Extends my range for my security cameras

Extended the wifi signal in my basement perfectly to all the corners by using the wifi repeater functionality. The setup process was easy and took less then 5 minutes. I do like that both 2.4 and 5 ghz signals are repeated.First thing to note is that when repeating your original 5 ghz signal it will create both a 2.4 and 5 ghz output signal.Second thing is that when repeating a wifi signal you will get half the wifi speed by repeating vs the original wifi signal speed. I have had close to a dozen wifi repeaters and they usually are all about half the speed from the original. If you want close to the full speed of the original signal then you will need to plug in a Ethernet cord into the bottom of the device and use it as a extender. This device has two Ethernet ports at the bottom.

Set up was easy. It did not take me long and I am not technically inclind. It worked a lot better when I hooked my WIFI to the correct WIFI logon. It brought up another WIFI name to log onto, when I did that it works great. Did not slow down my speed at all. I have using it a week and do not drop WIFI at all when working. Dropped WIFI all the time in the back office all the time before hooking up to this product.

I’m not particularly tech savvy, but I was able to get this device to work on my network. The problem is that the default password was 12345678. Set up is easier if you just setting it up to Wi-Fi. In my case I was setting it up to an Ethernet rj45 jack without coming off of a Wi-Fi service. I brought in a tech person to reset the password and he reset the factory defaults and then he couldn’t get it to work for a while due to inadequate instructions. It doesn’t include instructions on how you can fix security settings, or anything of that nature. It doesn’t describe a manufacturer or a website where you can get technical support.I’ve spent hours with this device unsuccessfully. I was going to return it to Amazon which would have been very easy, but my IT guy finally got it to work so I’m going to keep it and see how it works out.Steve C

This is the second wifi extender I tried. I returned the first one I bought, which is a sponsored popular one from different brand. It has a quite complex logic to reset. And after several hours, the connect became really unstable so I have to reset it over and over again when I was playing wildrift.Then I bought this one with flucky due to the area it can cover with 5hz network. This is pretty important if you want a really fast network without too many sacrifice. As a result, it works perfect in the past month, which enables me to play wildrift on my mobile phone. More importantly, even if there is something wrong with the connection, you can reset it in one minute. Oh last but not least, it allow you to customize the name for the new wifi you created!

At first product was decent but once I had to reset my wifi password for security reasons it all of a sudden doesn’t want to connect with the new password . Feels like a one time use thing.. tried everything I could think of reset a million times and nothing. Now I have to repurchase product.

Not exactly a tech guy but I had no issues with installation. Instructions supplied were easy to follow and setup was a breeze. Honestly my kids would probably have been even quicker with the install. I say that because navigating their way through their phones and wifi setup is second nature to kids these days.As far as performance goes, it does as advertised. I live in an older home with thick plaster walls and ceilings. Not exactly ideal for wifi. I now receive signal where previously I was unable to, and stronger signal where it was weak. The location and placement of booster can make a difference. So try a couple different locations to see where it may work best for you.Overall, i would definitely recommend this product. The price was reasonable, setup and install was easy and it does what it is supposed to do. what more could you ask for these days.
