What is the true weight/pounds?

According to my digital scale the three panel screen is 7.2 pounds. I have a 4 panel that is 9.0 pounds

Does this stand up well on carpet?

Only used it on a bare floor an dit stays upright. It would depend on the carpet thickness I think and may need something to hold it up like a small table so it doesn’t tip over.

How wide does the 4-panel open & still stay standing?

It’s not very wide. The dimensions are specified in the reading. It falls all the time because the material is not durable
