Worked like a charm

Purchased a new project truck and always do a tune up on them because you never know. They fit perfectly with no issues. Added an new cap, rotor and plugs and plug wires along with an oil change, filter and fuel injectors. Always want to do the full job and so far everything is working great.

appears to be made good, nice brass terminals , plastic/ bakelite a little thin on cap , rotor is nice

They are installed in but truck has bigger issues. Have not experienced them working yet.

Replaced this as part of a tuneup on an 89 TBI Chevrolet. I believe that since I purchased it, they have changed the description as to what this fits as now my vehicle is not listed. After doing my "tune-up" I started getting a check engine light. It was surging while idling, occasionally would sputter under load, and sometimes even stop running while driving. The OBD1 codes pointed towards the throttle body, so I spent a good amount of time diagnosing and troubleshooting it. After replacing some other things and still having issues, I read more into the reviews and saw others were having a problem with this cap and rotor. As a hail mary, I ordered the AC Delco cap and rotor and replaced it. All of my troubles went away and the engine has better power again. I'm guessing the uxcell cap/rotor was throwing timing off to the point it would shut down sometimes. I doubt it works any better on the years they updated because they are basically the same engine as my 89. You may want to splurge on a good brand to save yourself a headache.
