DERMA E, Pure Biome Balancing Serum, 30 ml (1 fl.oz)

I absolutely LOVE this serum. I have acne-prone combination skin and combine this with a simple salicylic acid serum twice a day. I was previously using another very expensive serum that had salicylic acid, niacinamide, and probiotics, and wanted to find a cheaper alternative. This has all the ingredients except the SA, hence my combining it with another serum.Overall, I actually ended up loving this WAY more than my previous high-end product! The only thing that would make it even more perfect for me is if there was salicylic acid in the formula, but even having to buy the two separate serums, it's still cheaper than the previous product, which was about $40 for one bottle.What I like about this serum: The texture is very smooth and not tacky/sticky at all. It sinks right in, plays well with my other skincare products, and leaves my skin feeling very hydrated. This combined with the SA serum has drastically reduced my breakouts and I feel like my skin tone (hyperpigmentation, melasma) has really improved. The price point can't be beat, and is honestly better than a lot of high-end products out there.

The media could not be loaded. LOVE THIS SERUM!! I am on my 3rd bottle! It will always be a step in my skincare routine. I use it daily AM & PM. I have acne prone skin that tends to also be a bit on the dry side. Since I’ve been using this product (about 6 months now) I’ve noticed a huge change in my skin. The dryness is gone and I’ve been able to keep the breakouts to a minimum. It adds hydration for sure! Quickly absorbs into the skin. It does not have a scent which is great for the face. This bottle would probably last 2 months for one person using daily. You do not need a lot of this for each use, maybe less than a pea sized amount and I mainly add it in my hand with my moisturizer. Works great!I initially bought at Ulta in the store but since that first purchase I have been unable to find in their store again. So I am super glad I was able to find this product on Amazon and for a better price too! I will continue to have this on auto delivery! Highly recommend.

I tried this because it has amazing reviews but I think it's more important that I know what my specific skin needs because I used the whole bottle before reviewing and I'm genuinely not sure it did anything? It may be that I didn't have the problems it targets. I'm not sure. But, I enjoyed using the product because it felt hydrating. I have not used it for about a month and haven't noticed a change in my skin without it. I used it only at night because it did not layer well under my SPFs.My skin: early 40s, oily-balanced skin, large pores, minimal fine lines and no discoloration, healthy skin barrier, some redness like a lot of blondes do.UPDATE: I stopped using this product and switched to another serum at bedtime for about 5 weeks. One day I noticed the surface redness of my skin was more pronounced,but it happened so gradually it took a while to notice. I thought, maybe the cica serum WAS working?! So, I bought a sample size and within 2 weeks my skin tone was even! This DOES work! I now have the full size and use it every night! My skin is definitely more calm with it.

Skin softer & dullness is gone.

This serum is amazing. I live in the south and it’s hot, humid and muggy. This serum dries instantly. It smoothed out my skin amazingly. My skin looks refreshed and much younger. No oiliness or greasy feeling at all. I’m ordering a second bottle. Very amazing product. Very happy with purchase and results. Absolutely amazing value.

Great for balancing my combination skin! Not super moisturizing, so I like to add some of their Vitamin C face Oil over it!

I bought this serum a few weeks ago and I did it at the right time. I have very sensitive skin and living in So Cal with all of the fires, the air quality has definitely been bad. This has kept my face protected from the elements. I haven't broken out, had hives, or any sensitivities since using it. Even in this super dry harsh climate we're having. Highly recommend this. Thank you to the Derm who recommended it. ♥️

I love Derma E. They sell the best face care I have ever used, But I was disappointed that at least a third of the bottle leaked out in the mail. There was no safety seal or anything to keep it closed.
