Philips DE3175WLED Ultinon LED Bulb, 1 Pack

Fit perfect in a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek. I had tried the Sylvania first... they are too long, and not as bright. The Philips are listed as 30mm, where the Sylvania are 31mm. It makes a difference, as I was really struggling to get the Sylvania to fit. Hopefully they have a long life. Note: As of 5-12-2024, the Amazon Title says: Philips 578 Ultinon LED Bulb, but when you add to your cart, they show up correctly as: Philips DE3175WLED Ultinon LED Bulb, and that's what arrived, which also matched the picture that is shown.

Anyone I know with a "new" used car, I suggest they replace all the interior lights with these LEDs. I choose these brand name LEDs to know I'd get quality, and ensure my car's electrical system wouldn't have an issue. Easy to install. Work well. Only catch on an older Mazda is that the lights may flicker a little when starting the car, since the car was designed for incandescents. A few year on, everything is working well.

Great LED light. Clean white light. Not too bright. I gave this 4 stars on brightness because if you are looking for a super bright light their are other options out there. IO had a super bright one before this but it was too bright and would blind you at night. This is a good compromise between the yellowish OEM and super bright. This is clean white and provides plenty of light, even in an all black interior.

So far so good, very bright compared to stock bulbs. I like that its 1 high quality LED vs multiple low quality LEDs. Heatsink on the back to cool it. Even though these are 31mm bulbs, they fit the 28mm in my Subaru with just a slight bend. 6/8/2023: Still going strong!

I used these in my 2011 Subaru Legacy I used two one for each map light and one for the dome light. These are much brighter then the regular bulbs that where installed. The have a clean white light that looks more modern. I ordered three and one was faulty so got a replacement and they work really well. I did take a away one star for two reasons. The first bulbs I received on the two tips of the bulbs it was not very smooth and made it a little hard to install I had to push the two metal prongs apart to get it to fit. The replacement bulb the sent was not like this and fit and installed like the one I replaced from the factory. Also the first set of bulbs I ordered there was only one yellow square which is what produces the light the replacement bulb had two. I did not really notice a difference in the light out put. Not a big deal for me as I installed the one that had two in the dome light. This may matter to some of you want them to perfectly match. I have used Philips products for many years and they make really good products and one reason I like Philips is there products don't normally change with the same products and item numbers so replacements are easier to match later. Just a little disappointed in the difference in the same products and the quality of the the two tips not being smooth. For the brand and the price I was expecting a little bit better from Philips.

This bulb is really bright compared to the standard bulbs. It didn't work for the dome light on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma as the ends are not pointy for the mount tabs to catch, but it did work on my map light mount at the rear view mirror so I bought another one since I have two lights there. I may try to find a way for the dome light mounts to work, but I don't mind as sometimes I don't want people outside the truck seeing EVERYTHING going on inside when a door is ajar. WINK WINK

After 14+ years, I finally had to replace the dome light on my 2006 Scion xB. I read mixed reviews on the Sylvania replacement LED bulb, so I went with this Phillips one. Let me tell you, the way they designed the light makes it a b*tch to replace. Even after I thought I got it in right, the light didn’t go on, so I had to take it out and put it in again. The light isn’t much brighter than the original bulb. It is bright white and not the yellowish incandescent style light which makes it seem brighter. Overall, good buy.

I purchased a few of these lights for the dome and map lights in my vehicle. They are brighter than the stock incandescent bulbs and give off a clean white light. They also function well when dimmed (my vehicle dims the lights a few seconds after you close the door). Although expensive, they seem much better constructed than cheaper, brighter LED dome lights I've bought. The others had differing lengths and some were too big for the housing. They also made a concerning buzzing noise when dimmed.

I quite like this LED. I purchased it to repair a burnt out incandescent dome light in my car. And this LED does the trick. First off, it definitely is brighter, by about 30%. The LED itself is unidirectional, as opposed to the omnidirectional incandescent bulbs (the idea here being that the LED projects light in 180 degrees and that there is a backside to this LED that projects no light while the incandescent bulb has 360 degree light projection). The LED runs cooler and seems to be still able to be dimmable, handling the dimming effect my car requires of it very well. It also comes on immediately without lag. The bulb itself also feels very high quality and on the box is advertised to have a lifespan of 8 years. While I can't tell you if it'll hold up to 8 years, I have had computer monitors with LED backlighting that have lasted more than a decade now. So to think that these things can last 8 years is probably not ludicrous. Also Philips does offer an 8 year/250,000 miles warranty on these bulbs. All you have to do is register your product and even if your bulb does die prematurely you can likely get a replacement. So all in all, a great deal. Note that you can likely get these bulbs off Rockauto for 2-5$ less (including shipping and everything). I opted for Amazon because the return is free and the delivery is quicker. But if you are also thinking of getting some other autoparts or just more of these bulbs, Rockauto may be a good vendor to get these from. Also Rockauto offers a "less premium" model than the Ultinon (for my model of car at least). In case you dont need to spend that much or just need more.

Pedí el led azul. Anexo fotografías de antes (bulbo original) y después. ¡Lo hubiera hecho antes! En verdad ilumina bastante el vehículo v.s. el bulbo de agencia. Mi carro es un Aveo y le quedó a la medida. No se necesita hacer ajustes de nada. Estoy muy contento. Me gustaría que fueran más unidades. Saludos
