Lots of duet parts for the teacher to play. ...
Lots of duet parts for the teacher to play. From the beginning uses different finger for all the notes so even Middle C is played with all the fingers. Your pupil has to read the notes and can't get away with playing by numbers as in some tutor books. A very encouraging book for older beginners.

Good lesson book
I've started to learn to play the piano without a teacher. Very pleased with my book choice, easy to follow. I've got a Theory and Sight-reading Books as well to compliment my Lesson Book. I'm on the Lesson Book 2 now.

Great first Piano book for beginners
My 11 year old started learning piano with this and has been using it already for the first 3 months. Definitely worth buying it rather than copying pages from another book. Decent price, solid quality and just what you need as a beginner.

Mature student....
I have been wanting to learn to play piano for as long as I can remember! I could never find a teacher in my area to begin with. But now I have and he recommended this book as an accompaniment to our lessons. As a mature newcomer to the piano, this is a wonderfully, easy to follow guide. After a couple of weeks, I was playing simple but encouraging pieces of music. With BOTH hands!
