Better than official Switch N64 controller
Edit: After about 3 weeks of regular use, the control stick started getting glitchy (sometimes erroneously registered a hard right input; sometimes hard to get it to register a hard right input). Opened it up and tried cleaning the stick box first with compressed air and then contact cleaner, but neither fixed the issue. Since I'd bought it less than a month earlier I just sent it back for a replacement. Will update if I encounter a similar issue with the new one.Edit 2: Did encounter a similar issue with the new one (erratic hard left inputs this time). Returned and will not be trying again.------------------------------------------I use this controller for N64 games on Switch including Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64, and the two Zelda games. Finding the right controller was tricky because I really want buttons for C up and C right. On the pro controller, C up and C right are activated with right stick up/right, which means they're not mappable to buttons (the Switch won't let you map stick functionalities to buttons). With this controller, you just activate the All Star Mode as shown in the demo video, and all the buttons have their original functionalities in N64 games. The All Star Mode stays selected when you turn off the controller or console, so that's a one-time thing. (There are a few other macro modes listed in the manual, shown in the attached photo, but All Star is definitely what you want for Switch.) Even the rumble pak functionality works.Even better, the Switch reads this controller as a pro controller, meaning that you can map buttons. The controller has built-in extra buttons for Home, Select (-), and ZR (and the Start button functions as +), but I also mapped the D-pad buttons as shown in the attached image so that I can take captures and clap (ZR+right stick down) in MK64 online. From what I understand there's no way to clap with the official Switch N64 controller. The form factor and button/joystick feel is very similar to original N64 controllers, although it's overall noticeably heavier. The joystick stem seems sturdy, and there's a replacement joystick in the box.Pairing is easy. After I paired it once, I left the USB receiver in the dock and never had to mess with it again, including across restarts and even if I take the console out of the dock and put it back. Just hit the controller's reset and then Start buttons as shown in the demo video and it reconnects.I've been unable to detect any input lag due to the controller being wireless. As a MK64 player I may not be quite as sensitive to it as Smash players, but I guess that's not even on switch yet, sucks to suck.Battery life hasn't been an issue so far. The longest I've used it continuously was probably 3-4 hours.

It works!
I bought this for our switch. I wanted to play the old school Ocarina of Time and I didn't want to do it with new buttons, I wanted to whole shibang, the real deal, the correct feel! This works great, and makes me feel like it's 1997 again and I'm playing after I've just gotten home from school for the day.It works for all the games, but you do have to shift the key bindings around as it doesn't acknowledge you being able to play the ocarina with the C buttons. We had to figure out a work around by changing up the R buttons. It plays it sideways, but it works. Just have to do a bit of a workaround for it, so don't get discouraged if it doesn't work. I imagine that it wont be a problem on other devices, but because of how the switch is set up it doesn't acknowledge 'c' key bindings.Great item, works well, feels nostalgic!

A must for N64 games on Switch
I grew up with the old school consoles, 64 being the last system of my gaming childhood. My kids have a switch and I was psyched to find some of the N64 classics in it. However this led to frustration as I failed to reprogram my brain to play these games with the switch controller. I knew there had to be a better way and these guys did not disappoint. Now my kids don't stand a chance. Mario Kart? Bond? Game over kiddos!Pros:- wireless, these kids don't know how good they have it. We had untangle cords and sit in front of the TV all night.-battery lasts a long time. I haven't recharged it yet.- perfect solution to the terrible button map for switch controllers on Bond.Cons:- "Z" (trigger) button defaults to the L button. During gameplay at first startup, hold Z and L until Z starts doing what it's supposed to.- requires the usb receiver. No problem unless you need the usb port in the switch for something elseOverall, I love it. My kids, not so much. They aren't too keen on getting their butts kicked in video games by their lame ol dad.

Wont pair or charge
I had really high hopes for this controler, when it arrived it feels great, just like i remember, but unfortunately i havent gotten it to work, the first thing i noticed was it doesnt seem to charge when plugged in, then i tried pairing it. The dongle flashed like it was supposed too, but when i pressed the reset button all of the lights lit up, then nothing. When i press the reset button now only the first light will come on while i am holding it down. It doesnt flash at all. Maybe i am doing something wrong, but i have not been able to get it to pair.

It Works!
I’ve seen other reviews saying that the C buttons do not work properly. The controller comes with a booklet, and it has instructions on how to set the controller to All-Star mode, which allows the C buttons to work perfectly. We’re using it on the Switch, and we’re able to play N64 games the way they were meant to be played! I definitely recommend this controller if you want to play N64 games on the Switch!

Doesn't work on switch
Claims its for Nintendo switch, but doesn't even fully work on switch!! 2 of the c buttons are unnassignable the way the switch does it and you can't edit or adjust it. Pretty stupid by Nintendo but shady that whoever makes this doesn't tell you this.

Funciona y es como en los viejos tiempos
Control muy recomendable funciona como un control original de N64, incluso los botones C y el botón ZMuchos personas que calificaron mal es porque al parecer no leyeron las instalaciones y de verdad es muy importante leerlas

Works well
Honestly, works great.I've been using it for a few months. Wireless range, battery life and latency all feel good for playing N64 games on NSO with a docked Switch.

Some issues, but works
Had to adjust the button mapping. But eventually sorted it all out and it works great now.

Didn’t last a weekend
Within the first couple of hours the joystick and buttons cut in and out.
