Fixed the problem. Got a quote that was $$ so tried this and has been working great. This review is being written a year after the purchase and install. Was worth the price.

My capacitor was bad along with my contactor so I bought them both on here and now I have working air conditioning. They have lasted all summer long, I was able to replace them pretty easily and didn't have to pay big money to a big company. For the price I feel I got a great deal, I would for sure buy again!

The last time I had my air conditioning repaired for this very thing, the air conditioning company ripped me off so bad. They took advantage of me in every way they could. The best thing I learned from that experience was how easy these things are to repair. So now I fix my air conditioning unit on my own when these cheap parts break down. Why not buy the cheap parts myself and just repair it? It's good to stock up on them and that way once a year or every two years when they do wear out you can just swap it out yourself. And save yourself a lot of hassle. Take it from a woman!!! If I can do it you can too.

9 out of 10 times hvacs fail because of an old capacitor. Save yourself a call to the repairman and their obscene charges to replace this item.Just make sure you get the correct capacitance and working voltage (read from the old capacitor)
