Replenix Sheer Physical Sunscreen SPF 50 Plus, Antioxidant Sunscreen Spray for Sensitive Skin, 4 Fl oz

I’ve lost count on how many different kinds of mineral based sunscreens that I used and this is the first one I LOVE! No more sticky feeling, funky smell or streaky white ghost marks on myself or anything I touched. This sunscreen may cost a little more but is worth every penny. I took this on a three week trip to Spain and there was no leakage at all. Remember to shake well. When applying to my face, I spray on my hands first and then apply. It appears oily/shiny but dries matte. I apply makeup as usual on top with no issues. I like how it’s odorless and dries clear and matte but your skin still feels moisturized. I haven’t used in water so I can’t speak to its water resistance. Definitely will buy again.

This is the one you’ve been looking for! Physical sunscreen, not chemical. SPF 50 Broadspectrum protection. NO WHITE COLOR when rubbed in. Great for face and whole body. Fast easy application. Physical pump spray, no aerosol propellants added. With so many expensive antioxidants, that you would gladly wear it to bed at night as an anti-aging skin cream. The key here is to cup your hand closely and spray several pumps into your hand, then rub hands together and apply all over. That gives a fast, but still finely dispersed application that gives great thin, even, full coverage. This is a better under-makeup primer than the great SmashBox primer that I use under my mineral makeup. Works perfectly for both of us, on my spouse’s ethnic dark olive skin and on my “whitest of the white” complexion. This is it....done searching.! Yea!

There were a lot of things to like about this sunscreen: the ingredients are great for 'older' skin, it goes on smoothly and finishes to a nice matte appearance, it doesn't go on too white, and its a physical sunscreen. Unfortunately, as much as I love the idea of this product, it just doesn't work well for my skin. I have combination-dry skin and applied this several times over a week before I stopped using it. As a sunscreen it was very effective; I had absolutely no burn/tan despite extreme UV days in the Arizona desert. However, even with heavy moisturizing, I could not make this work. My skin dried out terribly. For someone wanting oil control, I bet this would be an amazing product.

The sunscreen just sat on my face and it never absorbed nor dried. It felt heavy, uncomfortable and it was impossible to wear makeup over it. I gave this to my mom who has very dry skin and she however loves it!

I have always struggled with breaking out with any sunscreen on my back, arms and shoulders. Usually a week or two after returning from a trip and I am such a mess I will end up taking antibiotics and going for a peel at the aestheticians office. I am however very fair, burn easily and have two active little boys, so I’ve always just lived with it. I took this on spring break and it is very lightweight, it goes on very easily and I could apply over back and shoulders myself. And NO BREAKOUTS!!! None. Not a single bump of any kind. I am honestly amazed because I’ve tried every non-comedogenic sunscreen available. Even pricey Skinmedica (still use it on the face though). I have now ordered 5 bottles to make it through beach and pool season. No burns even when I forgot to reapply, no sting, no odor that is unpleasant or strong. New favorite sunscreen!

The pump did not work on the 2 bottles I bought. I had to buy 2 bottles with pumps and transfer the sunscreen into the new bottles. Very disappointing that you can not use the bottle the sunscreen comes in. I tried to save some money by buying from Amazon instead of my dermatologist. Not worth the savings if you can not use the bottle.
