Shanghai Yeast Balls - Chinese Rice Wine Starter - 4 Balls - Per Bags (3 Pack)

After several attempts to activate these yeast balls, I gave up. They are clearly inactive and therefore will not work in jiu niang (the sticky sweet rice dish). They will not accept returns, I should at least get a credit.

Never made or had rice wine. Gave it a shot and was very happy with the results. I just ordered more for my next few batches. I make beer and wine but rice wine is the simplest way to make a surprisingly good wine.

I had a recipe that called for yeast balls and had to order them online.
