This was the first 'self tie' bow tie I have ever bought. The quality is great for the price (you can buy thicker ties with higher quality material, but they cost a lot more). After an hour watching Youtube videos on how to fasten the bow tie, I wore it to a formal event and received praise from others. Once you tie your own tie, you notice those wearing clip on ties.I have a 17" neck and the tie was easily big enough for me. I just adjusted the clip towards the maximum length. For those who are curious and do not understand how the adjustment works; the thin part of the tie is adjusted so that the lengths of the bow (the thick parts) are of suitable length. If you do not adjust correctly, the tie will still fit, it's just that the bow will be too short or long (i.e. too wide when fastened). I hope this helps.

For the price, this is an excellent bow tie. If you haven't got money to splash on a luxury brand tie, this does the job perfectly well. Looks good, photographs well and there are plenty of short videos available on the internet if you need help with how to tie it. Supplier sent it same day I ordered it and it arrived in new condition, well packaged and protected, not crushed at all. Very pleased.

Fantastic item! Looks great. Adjustable for all sizes though I simply wear it undone, draped round my neck with jeans. Yea - women can rock the look with a bow tie :-)Excellent value for money and really well made. I love it.

Never before had a self tie bowtie but after a short time practicing in the mirror with a YouTube tutorial, this was perfect for my needs. It looked great on the night I wore it for a formal occasion and is so much better than a clip on.

It worked a treat with the help of a you tube video. The tie was perfect for my fiancee. He has quite a small neck and we could adjust the tie and it stayed in place all night. Great value for money

I am used to self tying bow ties, but found the material very shiny and awkward to get a good knot. Apart from that good finish and feel to the material.

Bought this for my son as he's wanted one for a while. It looks well made and he is pleased with it (although I don't think he's tired to do it up yet!!)
