I found this book extremely helpful with developing some academic writing skills that I need as a first year international college student. I wanted to concentrate on plagiarism-paraphrasing, on techniques for paraphrasing and how to plan my essays, assessments and reports. This book has given me all the information and answers that I needed to successfully write my reports. With the completion of the given tasks the gained knowledge can be tested and implemented in my work. I would strongly recommend it. With the usage of this book the PD classes would become unnecessary to attend;)

This is an interesting book for academic writing. it teaches the learner how to structure a paragraph, an essay and how to avoids common mistakes in writing. unfortunately, the one I bought came with some writing on it. Even though it was listed as a second-hand book I did not expect it to look like that.
