Nice product but the RGB lights don't work on the one delivered.
UPDATE: This is an update to my original review below. The i-XTECH team proactively reached out to resolve the issue and sent me another boom, without my even needing to ask - unbelievably professional customer service! Can't say enough good things about the quality of these mic booms - they are built so solidly, with such a modern and sleek design. They're the only booms I will use in my recording studio from now on, period (and NOT just because they have been so gracious throughout, but because of the sheer quality of the construction with their products!) I highly recommend i-XTECH and will most certainly be a customer for life. The arm itself is fantastic, however, the lights don't work on the one I received. The inside parts packaging was all undone (parts not inside their plastic wrappers), so I think it may have been a returned item at some point. Otherwise, very sturdy and well-built! I need to return it, unfortunately.

This is GREAT! Do not cheap out on mic arms!
I first bought a crane style mic arm, the ones that are over the top. It was a cheap $18 one and it was so cheaply made that it wouldn't be worth it even if it was $5.I quickly returned that and decided to search for a different style of mic arm, so decided the 'low profile' style was the best as it's out of the way and it doesn't block your view in anyway. I originally was going to buy the $99.99 Elgato low profile mic arm but the price seemed too high. So decided on this XTech mic arm that was on sale at the time for $69.90.The quality is fantastic! The movement is pretty smooth, it holds up my mic (q2u) fine and the cable management is a huge plus! The small screws that keep the arm pipe sections in place are VERY small, so be very careful if you are trying to get them out. If they slip out of your hand, they will be very hard to find on the floor! (It happened to me and it took me a good 5 minutes to find it!)The mic holder part swivels and can basically be placed in any direction that you want. The mic arm in general can go in any direction. Both sections of the mic arm can swivel 360 degrees, the 'top' part can go up and down too by the way.I give this a 5/5, but I will say and this shouldn't really deter you from buying this because it is a great mic arm that will last years, but I truly wouldn't pay the base price of $99.90 for this. It's great, but at the end of the day it's just a mic arm. Again, I bought it on sale when it was $69.90 and even that was a lot of money! The market for mic arms is really strange; if you cheap out and buy something that's less than $30, you really get the worst trash imaginable, but if you spend between $70-120, you get an amazing mic arm. It's just weird.

Amazing minus the 1 plastic part
Very happy with the build of the mic arm. Hides wires cleanly, and the arm tightens stiff enough to not droop with the weight of the Shure SM7B. I only have 1 thing I wish they didn't skimp out on and that's the ball bearing connecting the mic to the arm. It the only plastic piece on the whole assembly and it snapped off and broke on me a year in. It would be a very long lasting product if that wasn't the case. And there isn't really a way of getting a replacement.

Great upgrade from my old mic arm mount
This mic arm is a great upgrade from my old. It would creak and any little bump or tap on the mic arm would be picked up on my mic. With this one its a lot smoother and quieter. It also doesnt seem to pick up as much noise on the mic if you accidentally bump or tap it.Setting it up was easy and the instructions were very helpful. It also gives you different methods of mounting the mic arm, in case you dont prefer the clamp method. My favorite part is the compartment for cable management. It makes my setup look so much cleaner and not as messy with wires hanging out of it. I definitely recommend this mic arm.

Very sturdy. Would buy again.
I have been incredibly pleased with this mic stand. I installed it on the top of my desk and it is incredibly sturdy. I haven’t had any problem with it being too loose or holding my Shure mic. I would definitely buy this again.

Worked great!
- Easy to set up- Connected right up with my HyperX mic- separate USB to get the lights going on it, overall my kids liked how cool it was to change the lights- Does need some extra adjustment on the end with the ball and socket joint but not terrible

The arm keeps slowly lowering
The arms are just solid pieces of metal, no springs no pistons, the arm keeps slowly lowering overtime while im using it. I can tighten it to almost ungodly tightness but it still lowers slowly over time as if there is no friction between the parts that are supposed to have it when its tightened. I wrapped the vinyl washer with paper to add friction and changed to a lighter microphone and the problem seems to have gone away, easy fix, would still probably hold a heavier microphone but they should also include a ring with some texture to it for friction instead
