Excellent solution to needing access to my water shut off in the ceiling. A double empty outlet box was too small to fit my hand inside to turn the handle. This access panel was just perfect, well made, and easy to install. My only complaint is the hinge is not great and if you are not careful the entire door will come off, however, you can just snap it back in. It's not a big deal because I only need to access it twice a year. For the price this is an excellent product.

good quality with a reasonable price

I had an issue with the drain to my washing machine and ended up cutting a decent sized hole in the sheetrock in my garage. I was going to just patch and repaint the hole but decided that I wanted to leave access to the plumbing. At first I was going to make something out of a piece of plywood and trim boards but decided to go this route. It was good decision I think. It was much easier than patching or making my own and it looks very professional. The door snaps securely in place but is easy enough to open.

This access panel is perfect for access to water pipes. It is light and fits perfectly in a 12” x 12” cutout in the drywall. Just put it in the opening and secure it with adhesive against the wall outside the cutout. The border around the door itself is about 1”. The door that opens is easy to open to expose the pipes and then close. The panel is paintable and it matches the wall. Looks very nice.

I'm really happy and impressed with this access panel. It's made of a heavy grade of plastic yet still fits beautifully on the drywall opening - Not quite flush but close enough. It's also lightweight and highly functional and will work well in a variety of opening types from vertical, overhead, etc. The frame can be easily glued to the drywall and the access panel opening is large and easily opened with a flat blade allowing access to pipes or whatever you're covering. Another thing I like about this brand is the huge selection of opening sizes since sometimes, as in my case, the opening was not necessarily a standard size. Although I left mine unpainted, it can be painted to exactly match your wall or ceiling color. Highly recommend.
