Q: Hello, I followed the instructions for installing the battery and matching the controller to the tug boat. It did not work? The tug will not operate

First, make sure you charged the battery, 6 hrs for first charge I belive, then install battery. Next step turn on controller first, then turn switch on in tug then syncs with controller. Test everything before you tighten down the battery hatch. All lights,horn etc. hope this helped.

No, both propellers activate synchronously when throttle applied by transmitter input (left stick) forward and reverse.

As other reviewers have said very nice model and lots of functions on the controller. Lights, motors, rudders, trimming of rudders, power of course, and smoke from funnels. Runs really well and is great because 2.4 Ghz, You will need to string the tyre fenders on (heat the nylon string end and you can thread easily). Hand controller pairing switch is on the back deck but I found already paired. Would certainly recommend.

Very poor quality control.

This has a very poor paint job, lots of glue marks and faded paint. Items not glued properly so they stand proud, very poor finish overall.

Fantastic? Brilliant features such as lights

Fantastic? Brilliant features such as lights, horn etc. My son couldn't wait ti sail it after Christmas at our local boating club. It goes brilliantly, quite quick for a tug. He's thrilled to bits with it, thank you.

Very Impressive Detail

My wife bought me this for my 50th birthday.Once I unboxed it I was very impressed by the amount of detail. It actually looks better in your hands, than the photos depict.It took me three hours to attach all the tyres.I used a small darning needle to thread the string through the tyres and Hull.That is my only complaint.Out in the water!She runs absolutely spot on.Not too fast. So it looks more realistic, as its sailing through the water.I didn't take her out for too long, as I wasn't sure how long the battery would last.Charge the battery for six hours on first use.The transmitter requires 6xAA batteries.I got a pack of six for a pound 👍.Good points. Very detailed and seems sturdy.. Nice touches, like lights and horn.. Plenty of room for customisingBad points. Fitting the tyres is fiddly and frustrating. Ships mast and radar seem very brittle, be careful. Fitting the battery is a bit of a faff, but okay once you get the knack.If you have been thinking about buying this model, then don't hesitate. It really is a little gem.For the amount of money, you get a lot.Update....I bought a 2000 mah upgrade battery, and a parallel split connection from China.So I can now plug the upgrade and original battery together.This gives me over an hour of full speed fun.
