After several plumbing problems in my 1950s house, I'm looking to catch more stuff before it goes down the drains. Plus, after cleaning the original stoppers of the stinky black gunk, I'm hoping these strainers will help us keep our drains cleaner. They fit tubs which is what I bought them for. The collar was smaller than I expected but work.

Great For Catching That Hair Monster You Secretly Enjoy Pulling Out
Nothing that shouldn’t go down the tub or sink drain doesn’t because of this. My husband is happy but I enjoyed pulling out the hair monster because it’s one of those oddly satisfying things so I’m torn. They work really well.

Simplicity Is a Good Thing!
Perfect fit for a standard bathroom sink! This mesh build allows for much better water flow than some of the other strainers. For some things, simple is actually better.

Exactly what I need to avoid insects coming in from the pipelines
Exactly what I needed and was expecting. These are great for putting in the sink at night so no bugs come out through the pipelines during hot seasons; definitely a great investment for those who have this issue. It's at a fair price and lasts longer if you clean them out but regardless you get your money's worth especially to prevent hair from falling inside the sink to avoid clogging.

Temporary Lasting
It does the job , but the material of the strainer is extremely thin so it doesn't seem like they would last a long time . Catches hair and allows water to flow regularly which is a plus .
