Unique Party 66289 - Small Mexican Donkey Pinata

This was great fun. We purchased this for a 30th birthday in the office and had a great time. It looks great, was well priced and took a 30 year old adult a while to break it. It’s very sturdy and fits loads of goodies inside.

Bought for 8 year olds birthday party. Hung to a tree in the garden. About a dozen kids got to whack it repeatedly with a paddle pole before it burst open. Great laugh, would heartily recommend. Arrived on time in the morning before the party.

My daughter requested a piñata for her birthday party this year after one of her friends had one at their party. They're great fun for the kids. I must have spent hours looking for the right piñata on amazon and eBay, I finally settled on this one and I'm glad that I did. It took a lot of punishment from several 5, 6 & 7 year olds before eventually opening up, so all of the kids managed to have several go's and had a lot of fun. We managed to squeeze about 1.5kgs of sweets inside which was more than enough for us.Incidentally, my daughter attended another birthday party a couple of weeks after hers which also had a piñata but it only lasted 3 or 4 hits and there were several children who didn't get a turn. So, if you want something sturdy enough to give the kids 10-15 minutes of fun, then I would certainly recommend this piñata.

Tough little donkey, took multiple beating with no visible damage, meant to open up with a tail pull but that didn’t work either. Ours didn’t come with a beating stick so we used a plastic bottle which maybe was too soft. No donkeys were hurt to make this review

Ordered this Pinata together with the Plastic Pinata Buster and blindfold for a family party for my 16 yr old son. Filled with a combination of Fun sized sweets and some liqueur chocolates left from Christmas. Had about 10 people between 15 and 32 taking turns to throw a dice and if they threw a 6 were blindfolded and got to take a hit (I was worried it would break too quickly). Game lasted all told about half an hour and even the more self-conscious girls took part with great gusto! Worked brilliantly as very slowly started to break apart (we changed the rules to scoring 4, 5 or 6 with the dice) and a few packets of sweets would fall out, the hanger broke so we had to rehang by a rope around the body and then the head came off (!) but it still did not give up all of its contents. Word of warning - sherbert dabs and M&Ms don't work too well as the packets burst and I'm still finding M&Ms around the garden!I've given a good score for educational value as I believe using similar rules to above with younger children would encourage taking turns and co-operation.

Cheaper than Sainsburys! These little guys are REALLY tough. The boys got so fed up trying to break it with the stick that they pulled it down and attacked it in the end! The girls had their own one and that was just as difficult to break. I think they probably attacked that one as well as I don't remember it falling apart. Perhaps it's actually too tough...? Anyway, it's made beautifully and looks amazing. Holds lots of tiny bits and pieces. There's no space for anything in the legs. Only the body. So choose lots of tiny things!

Bought for adult daughter’s Mexican themed dinner party. She struggled to smash this open but it was the highlight of the evening. Lots of fun.
