Roller Derby Roller Star Girl's Quad Skate

My daughter has been using these skates for a few weeks now and so far, they have held up very well and are very comfortable. Not to mention, they're really pretty compared to the ones used by the skating rink. It appears to be sturdy as no pieces have fallen off yet. I have noticed however that the shoe laces are starting to look a bit tattered. That's not really a problem though because we can easily get replacements. Overall I would say these are nice beginner skates. It was a challenge trying to figure out what size to get her and I had to do quite a bit of research on the internet before making the purchase. She's eight years old (will be nine in November) and I got her size 4. Those seem to fit very well and there's growing room too. I anticipate I wont be buying another pair until the summer of next year.

I chose these because my daughter wanted her first pair of skates and I wanted Derby style. They arrived quickly and are beautiful. Now I want my very own pair! She absolutely loves them. Reviews said to buy them bigger for socks, room to move, etc. So we bought them in a 4 but she only wears a 2.5/3 shoe - I am glad because she can use them for a while but they don't feel too big. When she grows out of them we will buy this brand again. Great deal, great quality!

I got these roller blades for my neighbor because she didn't have any roller blades when we went out rollerblading. I tried them on, and the wheels are so smooth. The first time you wear these Quad's you will fall in love with how they work.They are exactly as shown in the picture's. Wheel's are excellent, really shiny, they roll fantastic. Really good material and I highly recommend these Quad's for anyone who is interested in a good buy for Quad's. It's really worth the money.

I got this roller skate for my daughter, she is almost 8 and they are just so cutet! She has small feet, she is a 12 1/2 but the size 1 is just perfect (she is wearing thick socks when she is using it) and there is a little space so she'll be able to wear them for a little longer. The quality is really good, considering the price. Leather is soft enough to be comfortable and they work pretty well outside at the park and inside in a rink. Perfect to learn how to skate. I'll recommend them.

Bought these for my 9 year old daughter who's been skating for a couple months and using the rental skates at the rink. They're OK, but have the following 2 minor problems.1) The bottom of the skate and the rolling parts are plastic, not metal. I didn't notice before ordering because I would have never thought they'd be anything but metal. My daughter is small for her age and the plastic is pretty rugged so this isn't an issue for us. She was a little disappointed when she saw it though.2) The wheels are made out of a harder plastic or rubber than you'd expect. They are glossy and really slippery on a cement rink when new. I had to actually keep renting skates because of this until my daughter broke these in on a sidewalk and scuffed them up quite a bit.On the plus side, the shoe is of pretty decent quality and provides good support. If I had to buy again though, and I will when her foot grows, I'll be getting something a little higher quality with softer wheels.

Santa brought these for my 6 year old. She had these on from 3am Christmas morning, until well into the evening. Even took naps in them!! She wore them around the house for days and days. By the time we went to the rink she's was skating on her own without clinging to the side rail as she had been doing. What a boost of confidence! I did order a size up based on other postings/recommendations. They fit great with room to grow. I'm no expert in roller skates, but I am a picky mom and I think the quality is great, she's worn these for hours and hours, been to the rink countless times and they are holding up great. Would highly recommend for your little disco skating diva too! She'll be so excited and have so much more fun going to the rink and actually skating with the other kids rather than being embarrassed and hanging on to the rails. Arrived quickly too.

i knew after 30 seconds of inspection that these skates where junk. i wanted to return them. wife and daughter said no.wheels aren't straightbearings are crap. some squeak, some are real stiffbase is plastic. the part that holds the axle is thini have a skinny 8 year old that is wearing them down in 2 days of use so far.

My daughter loves them although the bearings are not very fast. When you see the bearings are 608 it is only telling you the size not quality of them. I still can not find a ABEC rating for them so I can only assume it must be 1 the lowest quality. They are not even name brand and probably chinese of course. I am thinking about upgrading the bearings for her.
