TaylorMade SLDR Golf Driver

This SLDR club is as advertised! If you have a slight natural draw or fade, you can offset the effect through adjusting the setting on the bottom of the club, which is very simple to do. Go to the range with your key in hand and play around with the settings until you are comfortable with the reaction and then hit the course. During practice rounds, you can further tweak the settings. This club is amazing! I am not sure if it is the club or my confidence level but i feel that I am hitting the ball a good 10 yards further with better ball carry as well as much better control. I am a true duffer and this club has me wanting to get out on the course every day!

Felt like I was swinging a rock, sold to a friend 2 months later

Love this driver so far. Big improvement over my Callaway Diablo. I really like the weight and lie adjustments. A little bit of extra distance on center hits. Really notice how great it is on off center hits. I have never had a notable slicing problem, just an occasional undesired fade. I set the adjustable weight to draw and my fades are non-existent. Feels a little different than my last driver. Has a deeper sound on impact, but I was used to it after 1 round. $199.00 price was very good as well. It came with the adjustment tool as well.

I ordered this driver based on the heavy advertising ( sucker). The driver was shipped promptly and when it arrived I unpacked it and removed the plastic head covering. After swinging the club - not hitting any balls, I decided it was not for me. Because this item was not sold by Amazon I had to request a return. The Incredible Golf Store sent an email asking some questions and after 1 day cancelled the return and stated they had not received a response ! I had to contact them again which is a waste of my limited time. Because I had removed the plastic- they would not accept the return. Moral of the story- either make sure you have hit and want this driver or just buy directly from Amazon- I will choose the latter for every item I purchase from now on.

It's a great driver! This was my first purchase from Amazon and this was a great way to buy the best club I've ever owned!!!

This is my third Taylormade driver and probably my favorite. I had been staying away from the adjustable drivers as it always seemed to be a band aid for an underlying swing flaw. But I have to admit being able to adjust the driver head has been really helpful. I found one of these for $90-$100 and after reading reviews outside of the Amazon site and checking the driver out in a local golf shop, I bought it on Amazon for cheap. So far I've striping the ball with this driver. I never liked the idea of buying the most recent drivers for $300-$400 when you can get a new driver that's 2-3 years older for much cheaper. I've been very happy with this driver.

My husband has been wanting THIS driver for a long time (years). I kept telling him his golf issues involve the "golfer" not the equipment. But, finally we got this club for him. We went out for the first time last week. (We live in Wisconsin and have not experienced real "spring" yet.) He was driving straighter and farther. It WAS his old crummy driver! He loves this club. It arrived in a long, golf-club sized box and was brand new and beautiful. Now he wants to get ME a new driver! YAY"
