Great batteries! Run strong, came charged handy LED power status on unit.

I had bought offbrand batteries for my 18 V Dewalt in the past and they were terrible. They didn’t fit the tool properly and they did not fit the charger properly. They worked, but I was very frustrated. So when it came time to purchase batteries again, I still couldn’t bring myself to pay Dewalt prices, so I did a bunch of research and ended up with these batteries. They fit the tool perfectly and they fit the original charger perfectly. I have been using the first battery on and off for a bit today I used it to scrub a large walk-in shower with a rotary brush, so it got heavy use, and when I was done, it still had two bars of charge. These batteries perform better than the originals! 100% recommend!

The two Dewalt replacement batteries fit well into both the Dewalt tools and the charging station. The battery output is good and lasts for the expected time. They recharge easily and completely. Although I have had them for a short time and am satisfied with their performance., only time will tell as to the extent of their long-term reliability. I do recommend these batteries.

Okay, on paper these seemed like a great deal. I can't find DeWalt original 18v batteries anywhere and I really did not want to go to an entirely new battery system and trade in all my tools. Here appears to be Lithium technology in an 18v. battery for DeWalt, and they cost far less than the original batteries. The first indication that I might have made a mistake is that the batteries fit, but would not charge in my official DeWalt charger. I noticed that my official DeWalt batteries have 3 contacts; these batteries only have two contacts. Okay. So, I went looking for an appropriate charger. None of them indicate that they were designed for Lithium batteries. But, I took a chance and ordered the DC9310 charger from Amazon. This seemed to work, it charged the batteries, nothing got hot, the light stopped blinking, indicating that the battery was fully charged, the green lights on the battery indicated a full charge. And the batteries worked in my tools. I think, I'm golden. I still have this gnawing feeling though. There are warnings on the charger not to charge anything but nickel-metal halide batteries and warnings on the batteries to only charge with an "appropriate" charger. So far, so good, but. . .

Do not buy these batteries. Not even worthy of a 1-star rating. Upon receipt of batteries, I checked charge status and both showed ready to go. Tried to use them in right angle Dewalt Grinder and neither would run the tool. Checked the voltage with multimeter. One battery at 20V the second battery with no voltage. Tried to charge second battery in 3 different Dewalt brand chargers and all three chargers flashed blink code for faulty battery/replacement. Both batteries indicate full charge status as pics clearly show. These batteries are for sure much lighter than the old NiCad 18V but also much lighter than the much smaller 20VMAX Lithium-Ion Dewalt DCB205 quality battery I use daily for my other Dewalt tools. A sure sign of low quality. Less than 18 hours from delivery to have these returned to Amazon. Amazon did a great job with the return, refund and I thank them for that. The 1star reviews seem to indicate this being a common issue. Others appear to have better luck. Hopefully this review steers just one person away from this product. I have no issues using the 20V Max Dewalt Battery with the Dewalt DCA 1820 brand adapter in my older 18V Dewalt tools. Do not buy the cheap knock off adapters and batteries. Yes, more cost to buy the actual Dewalt brand, but they work and are reliable. The actual Dewalt DCA adapter protects the tool and battery. The cheap adapters are known to short out and the fit is very poor.

So out of the box it is fine. Packaged well. All four batteries came charge to three bars. They seem to charge fine in the OEM charger. And they seem to operate all the tools. I just got them so I can't speak to longevity of charge or durability and longevity of battery but as we use them we'll update the review. If they hold up it's a great deal. This is a backup set of tools that my wife uses. Four batteries for around $120 bucks definitely beats buying her a new set of tools. One Oddity is that the red flashing light actually stops flashing and goes off when the battery is fully charged as opposed to staying lit solid.

i almost throw away my whole set of Dewalt tools because of new Dewalt battery is too expensive . Thanks for this battery replacement . it even better than the original one , fast charging and last for a long time . this review is after almost one year with many use .

Installed. Works great. Took 10 mins. Still won’t charge, think I’m now looking for ac adaptor too now
