When I ordered this jack puck I knew I would need to cut it down slightly to fit my floor jack cradle. I did this and it fitted perfectly. I can tell by the cut away pieces that the rubber is good quality. It’s firm and supports the car safely and securely. Great purchase for the price.

Most trolley jacks use a cup as shown in the photo. The supplied jack pad is flat, as such it sits on top of the 4 pillars. Then when in use it is forced into the cup and put into shear. This is why in my opinion some customers are experiencing it to split. As shown in the other photo I have machined the pad on my lathe so it sits into the cup. Then when it is in use it is in compression rather than in shear and works well. So far it has been used in 16 lifts without any damage.

Sits on the welded seam of the jacking point and helps locate jack saddle correctly (if using trolley jack, not intended to work with scissor jacks). Cheap and very useful.

Does its job fine.

I’ve had this now for over 3 years. It works fine for the odd occasion I need it, but after 24 months the chemical rubber (not “natural rubber” it’s a nasty chemical “rubber” it stinks the garage out !) I have resorted to leaving it outside but under cover - the smell is overpowering especially when it gets warm. This summer has been terrible - almost to the point in considering throwing it away.

Buen taco de goma, aunque grande para mi gato hidráulico que es de lo más sencillo.

Este taco de goma (algo dura la verdad) con ranura es indispensable si quieres elevar el coche con un gato que no sea el de serie. Permite salvar la pestaña de unión inferior que tiene el chasis. Si no lo usas lo mas probable es que la dobles ( a mi a pasado con anterioridad). En fin, parece simple, pero es un accesorio a mi juicio esencial para elevar el coche con seguridad y sin dañarlo, si usas un gato de carretilla.
