So these indeed are tough to find...glad to find them here
So I don't know why 4x4 fence post brackets require a 3/8" bolt, but nobody sells the j-bolts in that size so you can put them in the concrete pad you are pouring for that bracket. I guess they expect everyone to just drill and use an expansion bolt. But why? This is exactly what the j-bolt anchors (or as my Dad calls them, L-bolts--LOL) are for, so you can avoid all that drilling work.So lo and behold, these babies are available on Amazon. Is it twice what I need? Yep. Is it still less expensive than driving around to more hardware stores, only to be disappointed that they don't carry anything that small? Yep. Are they every bit as good as at the big box stores? Yep. Did they come with washers and nuts? Yep. Were a few threads clogged by sloppy galvanization? Only one. Did this solve my problem? Certainly. They deserve five stars because they were what I needed and arrived when I needed them. Didn't need to run out and get anything else.

Good Looking Units
It's never be easy to find anchor bolts, let alone galvanized ones. Galvanizing looks good and no problem with threading the nuts.

1 of 4 boxes was missing nuts/washers
I ordered 4 boxes of anchors and one box arrived pre-opened, sealed with duct tape, and missing the nuts & washers.

Beware of poor reliability.
Placed these under my lift and wired them onto the rebar and poured concrete to hold the lift in place. Upon tightening 1 nut with a crescent wrench, with minimal pressure, the J hook snapped off at the bottom and the entire part left slide out of the hole. With 15" of new concrete in place and NO anchor, it means a weakened lift that may not hold weight when used. 1 other is also loose and I seriously question the strength of the remaining bolts to hold the lift down during use. These appear to be poor quality bolts since 1 snapped with very little pressure on the nut. it was not even close to being tightened securely and not close to being over-tightened.

J Bolts
Good product for bolting down sill plates. Missing three washers... But I received an extra nut! Great price on a hard to find item.

They work
Use these in concrete pillars to hold wood pillars for decks and they worked very well.
