To all that are listening, this boombox is impressive. Just pop-in your CD and let the day be relaxing with the sound. If you are looking for other music, the boombox has you back-up with FM /AM station. Tune in to your favorite station as the day ends. Easy to navigate with the different buttons. You can have it loud for others to hear or low for your enjoyment. The boombox is what everyone is listening to.

Just what I wanted. Very versatile and compact and has a good sound. Easy to use.

Great product for the money but would only work with electricity and not the 6C batteries. I called Magnavox and said probably a loose wire. It is a nice size but would like it to work on batteries. Thank you. A really good buy for the price. Will send for another one.Received replacement in a few days. Works perfectly this time. Will also use it for playing cds in thr car and when gardening. Very pleased!

In general, the item worked fine. The audio was just a tad bit muffled, but nothing considered too unbearable. However, the item is VERY prone to breaking/stop working after using it for a short period of time. The spinner randomly stops and it will refuse to play any CD and an error message appears; "No", which is an indicator that the item is broken. This was the second purchase I made for this item and it has the same problem as the one I had before...

Very compact. Feels sturdy. Sound is decent. No treble or bass adjustment but that doesn't matter much to me. Radio reception is good. Handy to have and I am glad I took the chance and bought it. These small ones are rarely available in stores anymore.

My grandma complained to me that her original radio stopped working and she wanted to be able to listen to the radio and her CDs. I told her I’d get a new one for her. As the pain of a granddaughter I am, I wanted to buy a ridiculously and aggressively hot pink radio and sure enough, I found this one. The booming, annoyed laugh I heard from her when I pulled this loudly colored radio from the box is a memory I will forever cherish. I set it up for her, which was incredibly easy and left it on her crafting table. I gave her a quick tutorial on how to use it and she was able to catch on so easily. The simplicity on how to use this radio is so great for a technically challenged old lady like her. I had a blast showing her how to put her Rig Rock Truck Stop CD in and blasting it at full volume and dancing like a maniac for her. I’m sure she will cherish that memory until the end of time. Since I left her with this radio, she has been raving to all her elderly friends about it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works quite well in Sunday School classroom, quite the right size when there is limited space; sound quality is also quite acceptable

I purchased this to play a child’s cd (one particular song on repeat) overnight while sleeping. The CD player works, however, the sound it makes as the cd spins is a little loud for my liking (although, again, I am playing a cd on low volume— because it’s nighttime). Maybe at a normal daytime volume (or loud volume) it won’t be so bothersome to others.Additionally, there’s a point where there’s an abrupt jump in volume level when you’re trying to adjust to the “perfect” low setting for night. No matter how slowly I turn it, 98% of the time the volume level goes from a whisper (which is kind of creepy) to a burst of volume (too loud for bedtime). And this happens no matter what cd I put in it (we change between a few cds). The player itself is lightweight, portable, and has a repeat button (song track, and full album option). I’m not sure about battery life, as I haven’t tried the battery use option (strictly manual plug in use only). Item had no odor upon arrival, nor during use. It also doesn’t seem to overheat (not even after all night use).
