This fan is decently quiet on low setting. It works amazing as an exhaust fan to pull fresh air from outside an open window or door. The size is perfect for my window even with shutters. It’s very durable and the remote makes it easy to control. Definitely worth the money.

The blades fall off the fan with any impact, I have had two of these back-to-back and the motors work great but as soon as there's any type of impact or jostling of the item the blades just fall off, don't waste your time or your money.

Got this fan because our old pellon fan was getting old and whiny. This is a very gray fan, wind movement wise, and is shockingly quiet. We are also loving the remote, because it appeals to the lazy in us.However. The front grate of the fan l, where the remote goes, hovers just a hair breadth away from the center fan motor. After a few days, the plastic is starting to *just barely* touch the motor housing for the blades and is starting to make a VERY annoying rattle/buzz noise. The only way we can stop it from touching is my leaving the remote in the holder on the front of the fan. We think the minute amount of weight is enough to prevent the plastic grate from being shaken by the fan movement to touch the motor. Hubby has tried tilting it, or pulling on the grating to try and separate it… but it rattles every time the remote is removed. So, we just leave the remote in all the time now. Which, defeats the purpose of having a remote… still, good fan!

I love fans. I've slept with one on for almost every single night since 1986. I love the white noise they make, and how they drown out all background noise like a neighbors dog barking. I've went through a lot of fans over the years. I was excited when I saw a box fan with a remote. I've not been able to find one until I purchased this Aspen fan. You can buy a floor fan with a remote, but they tilt, and are not really a box fan. I am impressed with this fan. It's very well made. The remote can stay on the fan itself, or you can use it across the room. The remote does need to be aimed at just the right spot before it will work. I am not familiar with Aspen, and I hope their fans will last just as long as their competitors. Only time will tell, but I'm happy with my purchase, and recommend it to others who also love fans.

Can't sleep without a fan. Remote is amazing in the morning to help wake up also.
