Octopus nozzle cleaner, print head cleaner compatible for Epson print heads with hose adapters (100 ml)

I used this to clean my Epson ET 7700, which had severely reduced print quality and was leaving black blobs of ink all over the printouts. I followed the instruction video and cleaned the inside of the printer with paper towels, and then ran the print head back and forth over paper towels drenched in the solution. I also cleaned the pad where the printer head normally rests with the solution. I repeated c. 10 times with fresh paper towels, as A LOT of black ink came out. When no more ink was absorbed by the paper towels, I tried a few printouts, and the quality was perfect. No need to disconnect the tubes and run the fluid through the print head.

Blocked black ink nozzle - Very straight forward to use (video on U Tube is great - do watch it first). Initially a bit worried as ALL colours stopped working after I used it (put several try prints through) and all checks showed everything correctly back in place .Cleaning print head (as suggested in another review) did not work for me SO then I just took out all ink cartridges ,ordered a print "cartridges not correctly installed" comes up because they are not there - reinstalled them switched power off/on -printer then primed itself (took longer than usual) then set going-perfect nozzle check and prints. Very happy have just purchased spare ink and didn't want it to go to waste.

I was very pleased with this product, gives you three different size tubs so adaptable to most printers. Easy to use and cleaned my second hand printer a treat. Value for money, and given that I'd tried other printer cleaner fluids, this has by far been the better one for me.

The Yellow on my Epson 4750 completely stopped working and after running the normal clean nozzles self diagnostic many times I looked to using a cleaner. I purchased the Octopus nozzle cleaner because it seemed to have good reviews.I first connected the cleaning fluid to the cartridge inside the printer but that didn't seem to do anything, I repeated with cleaning and tests but still nothing.After that I took the cartridge out and connected the cleaning fluid tube to the part underneath the cartridge and pumped it. After that it didn't seem to do anything either. I ran the clean nozzles program on the printer a few more times and it came out perfect eventually. Total time 1 hour 30 minutes.It will work but be persistent and patient.

The small tube provided did not fit the nozzles. I removed the print head and left it in the liquid but it did not clear the colour nozzles and tried forcing the liquid thru from above but to no avail.

I purchased this to clean the printhead on an Epson WF7610 which I use with sublimation inks on a CIS. The black, magenta and yellow were completely blocked but I decided to clean all four since I had the cartridges out and the machine set up to clean the other three.The instructions were easy to follow and everything I needed, except a couple of paper towels, was in the pack. I pushed just under 10ml through each head then replaced the cartridges. I printed a 5 page colour document to clear any residue before doing a nozzle check. The result was perfect and I've since printed about 20 mugs and some t-shirts with spotless colours.A great result and I probably have enough fluid left to do two more similar cleans.I'm delighted with the result and would buy this product again.

I read the instructions, watched the video, and flushed my black ink print head (which was printing and missing some black ink here and there)…I ran a head clean test and the page of paper came through blank… I repeated and had no luck… I decided that maybe the head needed to have ink pumped back through, so queued 10 pages of pure black… at this point I noticed that none of the inks were coming through. Odd because I hadn’t touched the colours. Then the printer shut itself off and refused to power back on… so… I guess it’s dead, Jim.In all the product looked like it’d do the job, but whatever it did ruined my printer…

I ordered this kit, as it looked better quality than most of the others on the market, to try and revive my ancient Epsom Stylus 880. However none of the supplied tubes or combination of them fit the print head nozzles. I decided to still give it a go anyway and tried, but just made a mess, and the printer was worse than before.It was a pity because the kit seemed good quality and well put together. It even came with a needle attachment, which I've got no idea what it was for, as it wasn't even mentioned in the instructions or on their YouTube tutorial.
