Used this on some vases to make them into DIY mercury glass candle holders for flameless votive candles. I covered the outside of the vase in painters tape, stayed multiple layers on the inside until there was solid coverage, let dry, then blotted the inside very lightly with a paper towel dipped in white vinegar, and let dry again. You have to be careful - the vinegar is powerful! - but it works great. Just go easy and don’t rush the drying.
