It's actually waterproof!!!
My Ariel-loving princess kept on wanting her toys in the bathtub, but we were worried about them getting ruined in the water. We got this for her birthday in hopes that it was indeed waterproof. To everyone's delight, it was VERY waterproof and my daughter loves it. She has even stayed up at night talking to Ariel. However, we've never taken Ariel to the pool so I don't know if chlorine can affect it. I recommend this toy to any parent that has a daughter who loves Ariel.
