BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup* Programmable Coffeemaker, Black

I've had this coffee maker for about one month and that's enough time to learn all the good and bad things about it. I have to give this coffee maker two thumbs up. I absolutely love it. I've read other comments about how noisy it is or it doesn't keep the coffee hot after brewing, etc, but I have not found those things to be true at all. Mine is quiet, and keeps the coffee plenty hot after brewing. Its easy to clean and I have discovered that if I fill the water to the weep hole in the back, I can get almost 14 cups out of this 12 cup coffee maker. The best part about this coffee maker is it makes very, very good coffee and no spill when you pour it into your cup. I haven't found any bad things about it. It makes great coffee and easy to use, so I don't know what more a person could ask for. I don't know how long this coffee maker will last, but I sure love it. I'm going to buy another one to have as a "back-up" when this one gives out just in case this model will no longer be available. Yes sir, this dog will hunt. Y'all take care.One Year Update: I originally purchased this coffee maker in June of 2020 it is now July 2021 and it is still making great coffee without any problems. I'm an avid coffee drinker, so this coffee maker does get a workout. Still operates and performs just as it did the first day of use. Takes about 12 minutes to make a full pot of coffee and still tastes great and works great in all respects. I take care of it and do not abuse it. I clean it when it needs it and always use filtered water. Its wonderful. I have read many reviews, the good and the bad, and I respect all opinions and experiences that are shared, but for me...... all good here. In fact, all is great here. The last coffee maker I had lasted more than 15 years and I would have bought another one of those, but they don't make it anymore. I expect this one to give me many years of service as well. I'll update again in 2023, y'all take care.Three year update: June1, 2023I purchased it in June 2020 and its been three years and happy to report that it is working great and I'm having a cup of coffee as i type this. I believe that coffee makers, at least most brands, last a long time if you take care of them. Yes, there are always going to be exceptions to that rule, but keep them clean and give it a vinegar flush at least three times per year and as stated earlier, I only use filtered water. I won't be giving anymore yearly updates, but I will update again when, and if, this coffee maker stops working. Hope this review gives some insight as to my experience thus far. Y'all take care.

For the price this is a nicer basic drip coffee maker. The clock is easy to set and program also. I have not used the cleaning feature yet but it is a nice option to have on a machine at this price.My only complaint is not the machine, but Amazon. They promised next day delivery but it ended up taking four days! The only reason I made the purchase from Amazon was to get it the next day, otherwise I would have made a special trip to a local store to get any basic coffee maker. I don't know why but this disappointment has really cranked me off! You go a week without fresh coffee and you'll get cranked off over little things like this also.

So far so good. You will need to add more grounds if you like your coffee stronger. It brews quickly. Bonus is it auto shuts off after a couple hours. For the price it was a good investment so far. I don’t use the program so can’t attest to that feature. With our hard water we normally need to get a new coffee maker every 2 years. Even despite cleaning. Bottom line, happy with my purchase.

Well. I havent had an electric coffee maker in some time - but wanted to try something new, after being French Press for a number of years. I had an inkling that you get what you pay for, and I was right. These very cheap, made in China disposable coffee makers are awful.CONSFirst of all - it is "programmable," but it doesn't work, no matter how I try....it never makes coffee when set. So take that right off the table.Second - the plastic this is made from scares me, it is so thin and cheap, and running hot water through it makes me nervous. the thin, soft plastic it is made from scratches easily.PROSIt is easy to clean. It keeps the made coffee hot. And it boils fast.I will be purchasing a more expensive, better made coffee maker soon.

THANK YOU BLACK AND DECKER!!!! we have a black and decker coffee maker since the day my wife and i bought our house in 2011. Our old coffee maker had been thru heck and back between power outages, over flows ( my wives fault and YES she admitted it was her fault LOL) it had been crushed by our cabinets falling off the wall, it was the best UNTIL it died sadly. SO we ventured to Amazon as we always do to look for things we need. we discovered this bad boy and MAN this coffee maker is right up there with our old. it definitely brews nice and hot even after you had 1 cup and but it back on the hot plate. super easy to use and clean. The clock on it is SUPER bright red which my wife loves because its bright enough for her to see if she clicked the auto button which sometimes she doesnt due and thankfully when we get up if theres no coffee made, we click the button and within like 10 min( honest estimate we program it to turn on before my wife gets me up with her loud alarm that she doesnt even wake up too) our coffee is done, we also drink 2 cups at night so we make it the 10-cup maker so we each have 2 cups each and that takes like 15 min( another estimation we havent stood around and timed it we just click it and wait like 10-15 min come back into the kitchen and its done lol) to brew. All in all if your looking for a new coffee maker or need a replacement this is the one you need. i will return with another review most likely this summer to give an update on it.
