Works great!
I just used it to remove a stuck bolt in a brake caliper. It bit so hard that the extracted bolt had to be removed from the socket with pliers. Nice....

Full kit
Seems to be good quality and comes with a huge range of mid sizes. Great bang for the buck.

They just work. Even on perfectly round nuts.
I had to remove a locking lug nut from my vehicle for which I did not have the correct key socket. Basically it's perfectly round on the outside. Not a problem at all for these bad boys. A few taps with a hammer set the socket and initiated the bite, and it just spun off like a regular lug nut in a regular socket. I am very impressed. And the time and money saved on this one tire change, which got me back on the road in the midst of a once in a decade snow storm alone pays for the whole set as far as I'm concerned. I'm just very glad I happened to have them with me. Pro tip: they do come with a knockout pin to help remove nuts/bolts once they're removed, but it's a bit of a pain to use, especially if you don't have a vice handy. Much easier to leave the nut or bolt threaded just a tiny bit in, and use a smooth faced hammer to gently tap on the side of the socket to pop it off and then remove your fastener the rest of the way by hand. (If you're wondering, yes this is a real true story, you can see the offending lug nut and the grooves cut into it by the extractor. Nobody asked me to write this or offered me anything to do so, I am actually just a very satisfied, very impressed customer.) 🤘

Tearing apart a 2000 f150 engine that has lots of rust.
This kit has saved me 5 times so far. Two bolts on the exhaust manifold where one of the studs was two inches long I took a grinder and just cut off the nut because there was nothing there. Then I tried since it was so long and not that rusty underneath the manifold I tried a vice grip which just slipped over and over. So then I got a small pipe wrench and as you know the more you turn the tighter it gets. I turned it slowly and it just broke and it was clean metal. I was thinking I was screwed, but there was about a 1/4 inch left so I pulled this kit out and found a size that was small enough where I took a small hammer and had to hit a few times to get it to stay on. I knew I only had one chance so I wanted to have as much grip as possible. It took it right off...crazy. Then I had two studs on the valve cover that you couldn't tell there was a stud nut on there as well as a stud on the timing cover as well. The trick is to have the extraction socket small enough that you have to tap it on to get through the thread so when you start turning it the cut is in the main part of the bolt and not just stripping the threads.

Great kit without breaking the bank.
Haven't broke any thread taps off, and use this kit once or twice each month for the last couple months.
