Double 180 gram vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered and expanded Deluxe Edition of this album from the greatest metal band of all time. The deluxe edition includes the 2012 remaster of the original album along with a second disc of outtakes that are previously unreleased in North America. Paranoid is the second studio album by Ozzy and the boys. Released in September 1970, it was the band's only LP to top the UK Albums Chart until the release of 13 in 2013. Paranoid contains several of the band's signature songs, including "Iron Man", "War Pigs" and the title track, which was the band's only Top 20 hit, reaching #4 in the UK charts. It is often regarded as one of the most quintessential and influential albums in heavy metal history.

This is Black Sabbath
Rock 'n Roll is so unpredictable. This is a great album if you're a Black Sabbath fan. If not, it's a good rock album. You can't lose. When the band presented the material that would become 'Paranoid' to their production company, the company handed it back saying it needed 'a filler'. That is when Paranoid was written; in about fifteen minutes. Source: I Am Ozzy, Ozzy Osbourne's autobiography. I recommend it as a good read. Hilarious, enlightening, occasionally sad, but mainly hilarious.

I like digital downloads!
Listening to it now, really like digital downloads and their immediacy. In the old days it was a trip to the shops to get a disk, then it was by snail mail as a CD or a trip to the shops. now you just think "I need some Sabbath" 2 minutes later you've paid for it and listening to it!
