Both sides are weatherproof
This shore power plug appears to be exactly what I needed to connect a battery maintainer to my truck. Both front and back are covered by a rubber boot, so it's made to handle some moisture on both sides. Sometimes good seals can trap water inside, so we will see... Only time will tell how it lasts, but for now I would recommend this as a good value.

Easy to install.
Changing out batteries and charger in the golf cart. Installing Lithiun iron phosphate batteries which take a different charger. Directly wired it to socket. Works great and easy to install.
