Great quality, mounted to my ZV-E1 with no issue, great design, protects my rig and has great options for mounting and grip. Can’t feel a noticeable difference in weight.

This is the first accessory other than a lens you should buy for your ZV-E1. It fits perfectly, barely weighs anything and allows you to attach just about anything to your rig. It feels high quality and it seems like a steal at the price point they offer them. The design allows you to attach grips, lights, mics or anything else you need.

Love this cage for my ZV-E1. The grip is great and the build quality overall is is superb. Easy to connect attachments so that I can mount with ease. Smallrig designs great camera accessories around the board and this cage is an easy choice! Don’t overthink it. Pull the trigger.

This thing is terrific, solid and well built. HOWEVER please note that it is NOT compatible with the newer Sony ZV-1, called different things on different web sites: the Sony ZV-1 Mark 2 or ZV-1 M2 or ZV-1 II. I know this is super confusing because some cages are advertised as working with either the original ZV-1 or the newer one, so I assumed this one would as well --but the bottom screw is about 1/2 inch off where it would need to be to make this work. I'm giving it 5 stars for what the product is and how it was intended to work with the original Zv-1 which is still being sold for a slightly cheaper price than the "Mark 2".

This rig is nice. Love the multiple attachments for mounting vertical and horizontal. The grip is a nice touch. Highly recommend.

The silicon type grip was much more comfortable than I expected. I think smallrig should only be doing this type of material if they do have a grip on the cage because their other faux leather type just doesn't feel as nice.

Another great product from Smallrig! Feels solid, fits perfectly, and makes mounting accessories easy. Tons of mounting locations. I love the little magnetic bit holder on the bottom...never need a screw driver for tripod plates! Would highly recommend if you primarily do video work.

Great camera cage! Easy to assemble and attach to the camera. Adds a nice weight to the camera which feels better since the body is so light. You can access all the ports, card slots and battery slot while in use. The silicone grip makes the camera easier to hold for people who have larger hands! Very pleased with the product!

Das SMALLRIG ZV-E1 Cage Kit ist ein hervorragendes Accessoire für meine Sony Kamera. Das Kit kam mit einer klaren Anleitung und zwei praktischen Werkzeugen – eines separat und eines direkt am Käfig befestigt, was die Montage und Anpassungen extrem vereinfacht. Die Qualität des Käfigs selbst ist beeindruckend. Er besteht komplett aus Metall, mit Ausnahme der Silikonflächen, an denen die Kamera befestigt wird, sowie dem Silikongriff. Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei, und der Silikongriff fühlt sich nicht nur gut an, sondern bietet auch einen festen und sicheren Griff. Die Installation meiner Sony Kamera in den Käfig war unkompliziert und sie passt perfekt hinein. Besonders nützlich finde ich die vielfältigen Befestigungsmöglichkeiten am Käfig, wie Bohrungen und Coldshoes, die das Anbringen von zusätzlichem Zubehör wie Mikrofon, Licht und Monitor ermöglichen. Die Möglichkeit, das Cage-Kit auf einem Stativ zu montieren, erhöht seine Flexibilität und Einsatzmöglichkeiten. Beim Halten der Kamera mit dem Cage fühle ich mich sehr sicher. Es bietet einen festen Halt und schützt die Kamera zudem vor möglichen Beschädigungen durch Stürze. Preislich finde ich das Cage-Kit angemessen. Angesichts der hochwertigen Verarbeitung, der Funktionalität und des zusätzlichen Schutzes für die Kamera ist es eine lohnende Investition.
